Currently serving a takeaway only service due to Covid however there were very long waits for food after queuing to order. Had to wait outside for over 45 minutes for 2 sandwiches and chips. Had I known the wait would be so long I would not have ordered, as it meant we spent the majority of our time in the harbour waiting outside the Red Lion, which took the shine off our visit a bit. Food was very tasty when it finally arrived though.

Quite disappointed overall. The crab had lots of bits of shell in it and had been mixed so much it was a paste and so for what I received it was extremely overpriced. The service was quite slow as there was only one person catering for the whole floor and the menu didn’t resemble what was online and so the experience didn’t match what I had expected. However, the view was very nice.

Had an amazing time yet again. Food outstanding as always. We can't thank the staff enough for ever thing they did for us. Would recommend the Red Lion to anyone. If you want friendly staff, great food and the best view money can bye this is the place for you.

Very unwelcoming, not advised there is no parking and you have to walk up and down an extremely steep hill. Awful attitude from the wardens, feel like you’re in “their territory” and not welcome. Very limited menu for lunch and terrible location.

At the village I think it's only one place to get a hot meal. Food is a bit pricey, but as a part of our daytrip it was definitely worth it. I ordered half portion of fish and chips and it was more then enough for me. The fish was super fresh, nicely done chips and finally tasty tartar sauce, perfect lunch on the coast.

Tried to book table this evening and the person I spoke to was rude and unhelpful. I guess they think their venue is so famous they dont need to be polite.
