The White Hart at Fyfield

Great local restaurant in a cosy pub. Vegan options aren't on the menu but had a great starter, main and dessert of amazing flavours and left feeling full and well looked after.

Incredibly good pub, we went there for lunch and ordered from the lunch menu, very reasonable price and the food are beautifully presented and super tasty! There is a lovely garden at the back NS it was nice to sit there on a hot summer day for a drink! will go again for some dinner!

We had a very good lunch here. The roast belly pork was delicious and the fish was very good. Both well presented and the sauces with the dishes were well balanced.

We were in Abingdon for business (from Singapore) and was looking for a nice restaurant for a team dinner! The White Hart was a bit hard to find but it’s a real gem of a place! It’s really surprising how a little place like this can dish out such amazing dishes! Everything tasted really good and plated beautifully!

My partner and I came here to celebrate our anniversary. They were great at accommodating me being gluten free and I felt safe eating here. Someone ran through each of the mains and whether it could be modified to be gluten free or not, and I had quite a few choices. The pork was exceptional. We decided not to stay for desert as there were limited options that could be modified to be gluten free and what there was all contained alcohol, which I can't have, which was a shame! Was just thinking I would have loved a chocolatey desert when they brought out a plate with fudge and a Happy Anniversary message at the end, so that was a lovely and special ending to the meal. We will definitely be back to have another meal here again! Thank you!

We really wished we lived local, as this would of been an amazing local to have.
The foot was honestly outstanding. We chose to have a roast and a dessert. Everything was top notch.
If ever we are back this way then we would not hesitate to call in.

Fabulous food in elegant surroundings. Relaxed setting with amazing staff. 5 stars, highly recommended. I am looking forward to returning there soon...fantastic.

One of the best Sunday roasts ever - tender beef, amazing trimmings married in gravy bursting with umami.

Literally come here religiously every week. Would recommend to everyone!
