Beccles Fish Bar

Told to wait for chips and then given what can only be described as the s**t out of the bottom of fryer. Used to regularly use but won't be any longer and would advise others not too!!!!!!

Pretty decent fish n chips.Chips hot and good.Fish pretty good for a one priced haddock.My local in Lowestoft has gone downhill so I travel over to Beccles now.Crazy,not a decent chip shop in a coastal town.

Food was overcooked very dry. We had scampi, sausage and cod . All was overcooked and very dry. The only thing they cooked right was the chips. I'm a professional chef and would recommend this place be avoided if you want good food.

Yummy!! Absolutely delicious sausage & chips - be prepared to wait for a little while as they are so popular there’s always a queue but it’s definitely worth the wait 😋 The staff are so friendly and work so quickly to get your order to you… Definitely the best fish & chip shop in our area ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Awesome fish and chips with great fast service. Curry sauce is also brilliant.

Beautiful white flacky cod. Chips to die for. Plain sausage was butchers quality and tasty. Can see why there's queues here often.

I often wonder what the world was like before fish and chips. I say "often"- I mean that's probably a bit of an exaggeration, but, you know, the thought has crossed my mind.
Pretty much the same I suppose, but with different food on a Friday evening.

Normally we are very very happy with our meal but last night I collected our usual order about 5.25 and the fish was pretty awful! Some if the batter was almost black, do you re fry fish unsold from lunchtime?
