I had the pleasure of going to Slates for a work Christmas meal last night and I must say it was absolutely brilliant. Great food, great atmosphere, very welcoming. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

The roast potatoes weren't cooked properly not enough choice of veg only had 2 meats on offer had 1 pig in blanket they were burnt to a crisp wouldn't pay 15.95 only thing was ok was pudding lemon posset with raspberries my partner had sticky toffee pudding that was hard wouldn't pay money 4 it it was a works do ask for a malibu and pineapple says no pineapple later realised there was call him self a bar man and don't stock wkd everybody does never again

Really enjoyed my evening. Lovely carvery, enough food to fill most bellies. Deserts were very well presented and tasted just as good. Karaoke and Disco to finish equals a very enjoyable night.
