They sent the wrong food order and refused to replace it. We ordered a vegetarian mushroom burger and an original burger, they sent a bacon and brie (French) burger and an American burger. When I called to get the food replaced they refused. They even asked if they had sent me chicken by mistake (how many wrong orders are they sending out?). I wish we had read other reviews before wasting money here.
All of the food delivered was cold on arrival, I live in the town center so there's no reason for it to be cold. The chips are such low quality it's a joke, the portion of parmesan fries was so tiny it's laughable, can you believe they actually charge money for that? On top of this the wrong sauces were sent. It's just really, really bad. Even the way it's packed and presented was naff and poor quality, the burger buns were ripped, stale and squashed. They really don't care, it's daylight robbery. The food pictured cost over £28.
On the phone they said they don't get the money from justeat straight away so they don't need to replace the food or offer refunds, its easier for complainants to just raise a complaint with justeat- they do not care about customers at all!
Please save your hard earned cash and go elsewhere.
If they can't be bothered to sent out a vegetarian burger to a non-meat eater imagine what other corners they're cutting in terms of food allergies and intolerances. You have to think what little care and training the staff have and question the standards of kitchen processes and hygiene.
Still waiting on a refund from justeat.
Definitely a great way to end a weekend. Great atmosphere, super friendly staff, comfy seats, great price for the quality of freshly made food and it WILL fill you up. Open 12:00-23:00 every day, wow!
Only downside was the external appearance, wasn't sure what the building was or whether it was open, only the menu board by the path drew me in. Signage wasn't lit and sadly the monochrome colour scheme blended in with the building colours for the whole complex with the text on the windows adding to make it look like an empty unit.
100% definitely coming back though and would highly recommend to anyone! :)
This company demonstrates exactly how not to provide a delivery service (ordered directly via website).
We placed an order for five people, essentially simple burgers and chips with a few extras.
Ordered at 6:30pm, at 8pm we try to call for an update on food as quoted 45 mins for delivery. After numerous attempts to contact and many answer phone pick ups, we finally get through to a person at 8:15.
Told that delivery was attempted but failed and that calls to the order mobile number were attempted (disputed as no calls received) and that redelivery would be attempted.
Food arrives at 8:55, nearly 2 and a half hours late! Upon inspection, missing from the order is one burger and one chips, a person's meal.
All the burgers were undercooked and the chips soggy, raw and sad looking. The burgers looked like they had just been reheated. Fortunately the establishment had the good sense to issue a refund.
Ordered Domino's as a substitute £30 fed 6 and arrived in 35 mins. Admittedly Domino's is not advertised as high class dining but at least they can deliver hot, cooked food within a reasonable time.
I would not recommend ordering from Burger Amour unless you expect overpriced disappointment delivered sometime in the next century.
Three photos of the chips as they were that bad!
Onion rings were ok.
Sadly things didn't get better with the burgers making me wonder when McDonald's are getting their Michelin star by comparison!!
