The Boars Head

Driving through and decided to pop in for Sunday Lunch (25/10/20). The food was superb. Fresh, high quality ingredients that you can be sure are hand picked locally. The price was pretty good too.

The Landlord was very friendly and the service was quick. We both had sausage and mash and it came up lovely and hot. The 'delicious' gravy was indeed, very delicious. We enjoyed the food so much we went there again 2 nights later. Being Friday night there were a few of the locals in there who were a little loud, which was a shame, but I suppose it's their local soooooo. However once again the food was served within a reasonable time and lovely and hot.
All in all a great place and we will go there again when we're down that way again.

We stopped here for some food and drinks after a walk in Charlecote Park. Staff were very friendly, lots of drink options and some good seating space outside. The portions are generous, and the burgers were okay but not sure if the meat is made fresh on site in the kitchen.

Fantastic pub? Lovely warm welcome . Recommended the Pie of ham and mushroom informed at time there would be a wait as it was made from scratch...it was definitely worth the wait couldn't fault it. All washed down with some lovely real ale ..Will definitely be doing another visit xx

Accommodated 3 of us as a walk-in and did all they could to make our meal very enjoyable. Super friendly staff, great food especially the vegan meals for my partner.

We met friends here after a walk in Charlecote Park and it was perfect for a festive lunch with children. Good pub food and lovely staff who were so helpful and welcoming. We had a great time. Would definitely recommend!

Went as a group of 7. Best Sunday lunch I've had in the UK for years. Strongly recommend
