An amazing Sunday lunch and ‘the best burgers ever!’ for my boys. All food is locally sourced, of top quality and prepared with great care, with an obvious passion for food! Good portion sizes which left us very content. Food served all day on Sunday, not just over the lunchtime period like most places. Very friendly atmosphere and dog friendly too (dogs allowed in upstairs bar area and outside dining area)- they were very well looked after by the landlord! I would highly recommend a visit here.Will definitely be returning! Thank you!

Alongside so many other reviews for the Pig and Wheel I have to concur with the five star ratings. The roasts and other meals enjoyed by our group of 6 were superb. All plates were cleared. Desserts were all lovely and excellent value for money. Dale is the most convivial of hosts. I recommend this restaurant thoroughly.

What a hidden gem. Great staff who care about who they serve and what they serve. Super range of drinks and a solid pub menu. Excellent value for money. The view from the restaurant is stunning. The steak was cooked exactly as requested and the chocolate cheesecake was so rich and yummy. We will be back.

We both had the Ribeye steak rare it was the best I have tasted in a long time. Cooked to perfection, chunky, and the taste fantastic, chips great and unusual but tasty salad. Other tables were saying about the quality. Their Chef knows his stuff! 30mile round trip for me but going back again.

Great food, definitely try their signature burger. It was lush! All of the staff were super friendly and helpful. I stayed for two nights, the rooms are very clean and the view from the balcony is stunning. Highly recommend 👌

Came to The Pig and Wheel for dinner whilst on holiday in the area, and what a great place it is! There's a great atmosphere, all the staff are lovely and very attentive, and the food is amazing. And we had 2 three course meals and 2 drinks for less than £50, shame we don't live closer!

Landlord was amazing. Drinks and food were top notch. Made to feel very welcome and 5 year old was treated like a Prince. Loved everything about it and can't wait to go again.

Fantastic place. The quality of food is outstanding. The barman adds to the friendly and warm atmosphere of the pub, happy to help with local knowledge. All this plus the incredible views of the area. Highly recommended. I'd happily drive the 45 minutes from my house to visit again.
