Very nice place with a clear identity.
Servers and barman are amazing.
The food is very tasty and made with passion. Cocktails are very well made. Adding a wider range of spirits might enhance the experience for cocktail lovers, but what they mix at the moment they do it properly.
The idea of the table for families, with toys for the kids, is a very good example of good entrepreneurship. If the kids are occupied the parents can booze longer 😂
Well done

Great staff, quirky place and tasty tapas.
Now for the not so great. Gents toilets had no soap, and the door opens to reveal the two urinals to the restaurant. Needs a little thinking about.
The majority of food is "small plate" so basically tapas for £9 each. Yes tasty but we left hungry after having X3 "small plates" and the £15 burger, which was literally just a small burger. Shame because a simple few chips on the side would have left me feeling a little less empty.

Definitely it is an amazing place. Amazing design, lovely staff. Our waiter, John was helpful and friendly. Cocktail are tastes as best as it has to be. We had a pleasant time, ate a sandwich which was tasty and massive. Totally recommend this place if you want to spend a romantic our or just to drink something tasty. A unique and confy place in the city.

Visited the Secret Garden. First off, if you don’t live around here it is hard to find. It could also do with a sign by the alleyway to guide people to the front, and also a note on the correct door to use. Get past these trivial bits and you will enter a remarkable and highly enjoyable experience. Maybe that first bit is because it’s the Secret Garden 🤔. The whole place was different from all other establishments. Staff were helpful and informative. The selection was also unusual so I don’t think you would be disappointed if you came here. The only thing I found hard was whether I wanted a small plate or a large plate. I would liked to have had a choice of any of them in a small plate but the option to have a larger portion (large plate). For instance I had a small plate of tuna and a small plate of shredded beef. Although enjoyable, I would have preferred buying a larger plate of tuna with a few complementary extras. But overall it was a great experience and would definitely come again. I recommend that you come and experience this yourselves, the decor is not wacky, but different in a nice way. Hope you enjoy it as much as us.

This will probably be the most thorough review I've written so far but 85 Secret Garden deserves it. Initially made aware on Instagram of this restaurants launch a few years back I've always been intrigued and wanted to visit. It is a hidden gem in an unusual location and likely survives on its online presence and word of mouth so it deserves a big shout out.
We were welcomed as soon as we walked through the door and led straight to the table. Every member of staff we encountered throughout our visit smiled at us, that leaves an impression. Intrigued by shots of the decor (Deco maximilist) online I had wondered if it was all going to be too much but no, the lighting was low and subtle and along with the ambient music it all worked to create an amazing atmosphere. No expense has been spared creating this interior and the attention to detail is incredible. Our waitress Holly was fabulous from start to finish, explaining how the small plates worked portion wise and what to expect. She thoroughly explained the dishes I asked about when I came to choose. The food was stunning I had the Tuna and Brocolli dishes and my partner the Lamb Koftas, Chilli Beef and loaded fries (amazing - I tried them all!). One comment I have seen is that it would be good to be able to upgrade to a larger plate and I agree. The menu is small and perfectly formed, I wonder if larger plates or more options may be needed to keep people coming back? Several check backs made throughout the meal by different staff members. The Bill at the end was delivered in a quirky little box, I love these touches. If I could give 6 stars I would. Thank you for our experience, I think you have it nailed and appreciate your obvious investment in what you have created here!

What an amazing place! My wife suggested we pop in for a drink and a look and I'm so glad we did! What a quirky and modern little restaurant and bar! I love the decor and I loved the gentle jazzy contemporary music. The place felt opulent and sophisticated, massively at odds with where it is situated but you can completely forget this and just be immersed in the amazing ambiance.
Good selection of drinks with reasonably priced cocktails. We decided on a couple of small plates and had the chicken satay and lamb kofta, absolutely fantastic! Flavours and presentation were just beautiful, I can't rave about this little place enough and can't wait to go back on an evening when I am sure it gets lovely and busy. Well worth a look at any time of the day and heartily recommended.

The Food was delicious we ordered a few side plates. Our waitress was very helpful as we weren't sure how to order. Will definitely return to try more dishes.
