Wow service was great and food was amazing. My friend had a burger. And I had a combination of sides. The sizes where very generous. The veg was lovely aswell. Would definitely go back and definitely recommend.

What lovely pub. Lovely outdoor seating area with comfy furniture. They allow dogs into a designated bar area and treats are available for them near the door. The staff were friendly and helpful. They serve food although we didn't eat on this occasion. There was live music playing which was a lovely surprise, apparently live music is on every Saturday and some weekdays. Prices are reasonable. We would definitely visit here again.

The staff are pleasant and helpful.
My meal was well cooked and well presented, I thought the two little bowls one nicely roasted vegetables and the other with chips were a nice addition to the meal. They are happy to serve soft drinks.
The barrel of Risley Bark (water) outside was a very good way of making patrons and their pets welcome.
Well done all round.

Lovely pub with a great atmosphere, clean and well presented and staff are polite and friendly, plenty of photo opportunities within a very short walk (literally 1 minute walk)
If however you get into a car and turn left out the venue there are some lovely fields to photograph in for capturing stunning sunsets.

Awful food, we we first through the door on a Monday and ordered the Sunday roast which very dry, and also the steak and kidney pie which had seen better days as it was dry (pastry and meat). We weren’t asked if everything was okay and staff just stood around talking at the bar. Only person who was good was Becky who collected our plates. Unfortunately we will not be returning which is a shame as we have had good meals there in the past. For £45 it was definitely not worth the money.

This has become our family Christmas meal venue for the last 2 years not sure if it had changed management team this year. But all seemed much smoother running for 24 of us. Thank you so much team you were amazing!! We will be back same time next year!!! Highly recommend 👌

Went to photograph a wedding so sampled the food and how good the staff were.

Staff, very helpful and no complaints. Did everything they were supposed to and helped me when needed. Thank you.

Venue looked great, food was amazing and drinks were flowing.

Found some great spots for photos just a short walk away as well, so don't let the limited places on site put you off. We had great fun taking some bride and groom portraits.

We had Christmas Day lunch here, and it was superb, thank you. Everyone was super-friendly and extremely helpful, even down to one young guy wishing my woofer a Merry Christmas as he brought out her leftover meat!
The restaurant layout was fabulous. There were 8 of us and plenty of room.
Food was lovely, especially the sticky toffee pudding, which was massive (I was lucky with that, as some had smaller pieces). The only complaint was that Yorkshire Puddings were awful. They tasted powdery, tbh but other than that, fabulous. Nice to be able to help yourself to vegetables and potatoes.
