Lussmanns Sustainable kitchen & garden

Beautiful restaurant with Delicious food and very friendly service! A personal feedback on the main dish cod lion I had. the cod itself absolutely fresh tender and delicious but the sauce underneath feels a bit heavy to match with the cod as well summer weather.

Went to Lussmanns for lunch, it was a lovely meal, really good portions of food, from giant fishcakes, grass fed steak, and a lovely sole fish. Also my grandmother had the most amazing chocolate mousse.

The most amazing part was the service from both Kate and Anna, they made the whole experience a pleasure, really exception service and with a nice sense of humour as well. It is nice to get his service when you go out, and both of them did just that so a big thanks to the staff at Lussmanns.

Visited last week, so good, right from walking in, friendly and welcoming staff, attentive without being annoying. Anna was brilliant, water jug never got empty, really on the ball. Manager Darren really good, again attentive and friendly.
Food was delicious.
Love the touch of handles on toilet seats so don't have to touch seat.
Definitely go back, thank you Darren and Anna!

Now one of my top favourite local restaurants. We visited on Weds evening with kids + grandparent. Sat in terrace. Lovely sunny evening. Fantastic table. Impeccable friendly service from the moment we arrived. Waiting staff were brilliant. Because it was an early dinner we ate from the late Summer specials menu. Really good value. The quality of the kids menu was superb - first time all 3 of them had eaten steak (tender). As adults we all had fish (superbly cooked). All round great.

An excellent lunch in a beautiful setting. Lovely restaurant on the high street in Berkhamsted. Interesting menu, great flavours, well priced. Very highly recommend.

The shepherds pie is to die for and making my mouth water as I write this! Crunchy mashed potato topped with cheese and meats bubbling around the edges. It was just so tasty!
Everything about this place was GOOD from server to setting and everything in between - the in between being the food.
The menu initially never blows me away but it is all about produce in this place and it’s of fantastic quality. Sit in the light and airy garden room out back or darker, more comfortable front restaurant. Perfect place for a romantic dinner or Sunday lunch.
