Thought we'd check this out today for brunch but were quite disappointed. It's very similar in style to Faro Lounge across the road, but isn't up to the same standard. Everything felt a little dirty, the tables were sticky, milk jug had marks on the inside and spoons were cloudy looking - not filthy but didn't feel that clean either. After we asked them to clean the table I wiped it with a tissue to dry it and the tissue was black, I think the whole place needs a deep clean. The coffee was good. We ordered eggs Benedict, there was egg shell in the eggs, mine were runny but my husband's were hard. There was hardly any hollandaise sauce, just a tiny smear on each egg and the muffin was very dry and not toasted much at all. The other concern was that this was served on a wooden board with a crack through the middle, after experiencing the cleaning standards it did make me worry how clean this would be. I won't be going back and wouldn't recommend.

Look, this new place is a direct copy of the Faro Lounge over the street, but delivered to a much worse standard. Staff and management are clueless and out of their depth. They didn't even know their own offers when we went last night. The first 2 items in the menu we tried to order were out of stock. Hardly anyone in there, and they were sweeping up around us to get home early. It won't be around for long I think. Just go to the faro lounge if you want that type of meal, much better venue, service and staff.

Great place for a drink and bite to eat.
The decor is stunning and you can tell that it was really well thought out. I love the table names and our personal favourite is Oscar Wilde in the garden room.
Staff are polite and friendly and always had a smile on their faces.
A great new addition to Lichfield. Make sure you give it a try.

Visited at 5pm on a Friday, lovely food served quickly and as we ordered. Loved the decor and felt very comfortable and welcoming. Would certainly visit again. Very quiet when we were there which may be a reflection on the quality of food and service but can only comment on our experience. Recommended.

This place was quite a disappointment.
When you first go in, the decor is really nice (colourful wallpaper and quirky board games on the ceiling).
They offer a vegan/vegetarian menu, which me and my partner ordered off of. We were very careful when we ordered to check with the waitress that our choices were completely vegan.
It didn't get off to a good start when it took our drinks order half an hour to arrive.
Then when the food came, a portion of my meal (tofu scramble) was missing. I asked the waitress where it was and she insisted that the avocado was the scramble. I explained that the menu had been clear the dish included both the avocado and the tofu and reluctantly she went to the kitchen to fetch it for me.
In addition, my partner questioned the waitress on the burger bun he had been given, asking if it was vegan because the vegan bun he had ordered had been described differently in the menu. The waitress seemed very unclear what vegan meant (despite there being a whole vegan menu) and eventually said there was no alternative for him, which meant he had an incomplete meal.
The staff at no point were particualrly apologetic and no refund or good will getsure was offered. We were disappointed with the experience and would definitely not reccomend!

Wasn't terrible but wasn't great either. It's almost an exact copy of the Faro lounge (the restaurant opposite) but without the food standards or facilities. Food was mediocre at best and had to change seats twice as first table was so sticky my coat stuck to it, second one the cinema seats weren't bolted to the floor and pitched forward every time you sat in it so finally moved to a third (also sticky but less than the first). Glasses, cutlery and serving dishes (wooden boards) were dirty. Fresh muffins were obviously defrosted as they were tough, eggshell in both our poached eggs. Basically it's ok but go to the Faro lounge for the same ambience with better service and food (or anywhere else in Lichfield as there are loads of places)

This place seemed very promising. Lovely decor and lots of seating. However, the menus left a lot to be desired. There is a separate vegetarian and vegan menu which I was pleased about until I saw fish finger sandwich and an open salmon sandwich being advertised as vegetarian and this was just two dishes - there were more irregularities. The owners/chefs clearly don’t understand what vegetarians and vegans eat. I ordered a vegan dish that came out with chorizo and a poached egg. The waiter was very apologetic but we were still charged for the meat option and my partner ordered some chips which were delivered 15 minutes after he had his sandwich and were inedible. We were very disappointed and won’t return.

Worst dining experience of my life. If I could give 0 stars I would. We waited over an hour for our food and then it came out wrong... twice. Then we gave up and left.

I'd ordered 2 vegan breakfasts, after waiting around a hour+ the first came out with meat. I sent it back and 10 minutes later it came back this time with eggs on (clearly the same plate, just scraped off the meat). We decided enough was enough, I got a full refund but the barmaid wasn't exactly apologetic.

The menu is also confusing with salmon and parmesan being listed as vegetarian and halloumi as vegan which is obviously wrong and demonstrates they don't understand the terms. Wouldn't go again.
