This is a micro-brewery and restaurant so there is also great ales, beers, ciders, cocktails and wines on offer.
We had the Monday offer of main + pint/wine/soft drink for £10 - extremely good value.
There is a sofa if you only want coffees / drink and as well as the usual tables there are also some comfy booths.
Highly recommend- we will be returning
The menu is seriously awesome - so much quality choice, me and my partner needed more time to choose our food because the amount of dishes that ticked our boxes was so good. When the food arrived it didn't disappoint either - had starters and mains of which were so good... That much so we'll definitely be returning again and again.
The staff were great and friendly to both us and my dog (yes it's dog friendly - within the bar searing area)
Would highly recommend it you find yourself visiting Settle or passing.
Also fur baby friendly in the bar area. Highly recommended!
Initially, I thought the mains were small but then I do think that portion sizes are generally way too large in this country, which contributes to unnecessary food waste but, if you're going to serve a small plate, the price should correspond. At £15, even as a special meal deal for a Monday night with a small glass of wine included, I thought the cost was verging on cheeky for what was basically 3 hot sandwiches with a condiment-sized bowl of fries and coleslaw.
That aside, as we were having a small celebration, we decided to order a pudding. I wish we hadn't. The insultingly small sweet portions were very poor value for money indeed. I know 'times is 'ard' with rising food, staffing and energy costs (I also run a business, I'm aware) but £7 for a sliver of Lemon Tart and £6.50 for a tiny Creme Brulee? I wanted to send all our desserts back but the people I was with didn't want to make a fuss so we ate them, paid and left feeling ripped off.
The service was slow - the manager was very interested in the experience of the couple next to us but no one seemed to be bothered about us - and when we were asked if everything was alright when we paid the bill, my father steeled himself to say something about the disappointing pudding and the response from the young lady was, 'Right'. If you couldn't be less interested in whether we were okay or not, why bother asking? I won't be going back, I'm afraid.
