Amazing food and a warm welcome from lovely attentive staff. First time here and would like to transport it almost 200 miles north.

Menu was great for us with a mix of Turkish and traditional English food. We enjoyed what we had- chicken breast and a Turkish lamb dish. Desserts also good but I think baklava did not really go well with Turkish delight ice-cream. The service was friendly and attentive.

What a find. Stopped here on our trip south, as recommend by others. Unfortunately we were only looking for a light lunch because the main menu looked very interesting. Its a mixture of good old English pub classics but with an extensive Turkish selection as well. We decided to share 4 Turkish starters and forego a main as we were eating later. They were all excellent 👌 Great, friendly service and good value. Highly recommended.

Second time at The Greyhound and the food was just as good if not better than the last time (also outrageously delicious). I have a wheat allergy and they were able to cater a Sunday lunch for me, which was so tasty. The staff are friendly and attentive and the owners lovely. Will definitely continue to return.

Lovely Sunday lunch. One of the best meals we have had recently and will be back. A twist on traditional Sunday lunch. Best creme brulee I've ever tasted with Turkish delight ice cream. Only small complaint was that it was too hot inside as all radiators were on full and a really noisy party of about 20 were in who were oblivious to anyone else around them. All in all though, would definitely recommend.

Lovely freshly decorated pub/restaurant. Plenty of space between tables in the restaurant area with some seating outside. Really friendly, helpful staff and lovely food. So nice to have a selection of traditional English staples with a mix of Turkish choices to tempt the taste buds.

What a gem, freshly cooked Turkish food. We shared the mezze starter and it was fantastic, full of flavour and carefully prepared. I had the greyhound chicken which was delicious. Highly recommended, great service and excellent value.

This is our food pub of choice in an area not short of places to eat well. Cuisine is a mixture of the standard and the more exotic: the chef is Turkish, and a number of his specialities are vegetarian/vegan, which helps us as our son is vegan. Plenty of choice though, whichever way you swing. Portion sizes are sensible, the food always cooked just right, with lovely sauces to bring out the flavours. Service is courteous and usually quick, even at busy times; prices won't break the bank. Cannot fault the place, we will be back. Frequently.
