Always have fantastic food here, never been let down! Excellent prices, great choices every week, and superb service.

These pies are amazing... Went with friends who recommended it... Old cosy pub with friendly helpful staff... Only negative is that the seats are hard and small... But goes with the style /age of pub.... Would still recommend ❤️

Not a great experience. Halfway through my son's meal he noticed that his chicken strips were undercooked. Whilst I understand accident's happen. I'm this day and age this is not a great mistake to make.
We we're enjoying a rare father and son evening out and it was ruined by someone not doing their job. Very disappointed.

Loved this quaint, atmospheric restaurant. The food was fantastic - pies, mash and gravy. Sounds simple, but they do this brilliantly and with great style . Loved the bowler hat which reserved our table. Some lovely touches to make the meal special .

I love pies 🥰. So when I saw this pub I just had to go in and eat (although to be fair it was time for dinner 😁). Gladly I wasn't disappointed. The Steak and Stilton pie was fantastic, as was the rest of the meal (chips, gravy, peas and a pint). Service and atmosphere were also great. I even left my scarf, ringing the next day and finding out that they had kept it for me. When I collected it in the evening they had neatly folded it for me too - nice little touches like this make all the difference. Thank you.

Had a lovely evening at the pie society.
It was pub quiz night.
I think the place was short staffed, but we didn't really notice. The service was excellent, the staff super friendly and the food was delicious. Highly recommended.

The Christmas Dinner Pie ... Genuinely the best pie I have ever eaten! With cranberry and brie mash. Amazing food, friendly staff and a great quiz master.
