My first time at this cafe. Lovely setting, quirky period building which is fully shown off to fantastic effect. The menu is not huge, but nothing on the menu I would not eat. Lots of gluten free options including lovely cheese scones which I had with soup. All very delicious. Cakes for afters which again had a nice gluten free options.

Staff are friendly and well organised. Totally understand why you have to book. Can't wait to go back

We have been coming here for years - a truly lovely cafe in a beautiful picturesque village. The cakes are an absolute treat and staff always warming. Great to sit inside, outside on the tables or if this popular gem is full up recommend getting a takeaway coffee (and cake) and sitting on the green. You can really feel that the owners have put their hearts into this lovely cafe which makes it all the more special! Thank you for all the fantastic memories and all those to come in the future!

Super cute tea room, fantastic service and lovely food. Sat outside in the shade under the parasol. Very welcome as it was so hot and sunny at 10.30am! Will definitely be back 😍

We didn't go to the Tea room , it looked busy, so no doubt a good place but went to the Vintage Fair which was really great and most enjoyable.

A delightful place for lunch anytime. I wish I lived closer but then again the occasions on which we do get here are all the more special. Wonderful food, such welcoming and charming ladies that serve you make the whole experience a true pleasure. It’s like travelling back in time to when good old fashioned service was the norm.

While visiting the village of Heydon we stopped by the rea room, they were very busy but able to accommodate, the variety of cakes on display were amazing, we had 2 cappuccinos plus 2 scones, all were excellent but come at a price.
The tea room is very quaint and worth a visit if in the area.
Would highly recommend

What an excellent find for my and my wife. Cindy the owner was very attentive from our first query on the phone to even making sure she talked to us when we arrived. The staff were excellent and happy!
Truly enjoyed our afternoon lunch and the food was presented beautifully and was scrumptious! Stunning picture postcard setting.
