We were in kings Lynn on a small break and drove past, phoned to book and we were so glad we did. the food was outstanding, I had the steak and ale pie, Mrs and daughter had turkey dinners and toddler had a small turkey dinner. my only regret was having a big starter, the starter was great, beef chilli nachos, but I wish I had more room for the pie, meat was so tasty and melted in the mouth in a rich and smooth ale gravy. the chips were cooked perfectly, soft and fluffy middle and crispy on the outside. I could go on the same about Sunday dinners too. We managed to squeeze in a piece of chocolate brownie which my Mrs and toddler shared, big thumbs up. just wish we lived closer to visit again. very happy with whole experience, staff were kind and welcoming and we were served quickly which is great for anyone with a toddler

Average place to eat with average tasting food. Nacho starter had some nacho chips but most were smashed and once you get into middle there's nothing left but mince and grease but tasted nice. Large gammon steak which was average tasting pub food nothing wrong. Was bombarded by fly's and had a some nasty comments off of another customer when not following arrows correctly. Staff seemed friendly and menu was small no doubt to the current situation but price wise / what there was to offer I recommend going down the road to Middleton's otherwise I nor disprove or recommend here it's just a place that you stop off and get food if you want pub food 🤷

Lovely delicious Sunday lunch. Very well priced, and very generous portions. Excellent choice on the menu for the Sunday and a wide range of drinks also available. Would recommend for Sunday lunch if you want a traditional, cozy Sunday lunch environment. The place was packed and 100% full by 1pm, a sign of just how good a place is

Brilliant place to stop on the way down to Norwich. A varied menu and pleasant surroundings to eat in. Friendly staff and great service. We'll be stopping again.

10/10. Had the roast turkey with lots of veg, very well priced. Excellent portions and the turkey was succulent. Quick friendly service, a warm atmosphere, and one of my favourite beers - Adnam's Ghost Ship 👍 we'll be back.

Carpenters Arms is such a welcoming pub. Very friendly and helpful staff. Dog friendly, too. The pub has plenty of space inside with log burner and open fire, creating a cosy atmosphere. The menu has plenty of choice and is freshly prepared. I had a tasty fish pie, and my partner had steak and ale pie with beautiful pastry. Highly recommended pub in my book.
