We accidentally stumbled upon this place and it was the foodie highlight of our week’s honeymoon in Jedburgh! Run by an amazing and very welcoming husband and wife team, this place gave us super fresh, seasonal, beautifully presented food. We went the first time for dinner and went back another day for lunch - it was that good! Total hidden gem, very highly recommended!

First visit for about 7 years and absolutely as good as we remembered. Superb food and service in understated surroundings. The beef, lamb and venison we had were all excellent and the starters and desserts were great too.

We took the crazy spaniel in and he was looked after and actually behaved himself.

Sadly it will probably be a while until we are back but I would recommend this gem of a restaurant to anyone who happens to be in the area.

Beyond great. Better standards of cookery than many Michelin one star venues. Unbelievable value with poised assurance and amazing flavour combinations of British game and locally sourced meats and vegetables.
Couldn't recommend more highly.

Beautiful food as always.....both went for fowl dishes this time - duck and pigeon, both superb. And the desserts, himself can't go past the Sticky Toffee Pudding from the menu. If you are allowed a tiny taste you realise why 😗👌

Outstanding food - both quality, taste and presentation. Unpretentious restaurant with friendly staff, good service and utterly amazing food using local produce. We had a fantastic meal, for a really reasonable price and won't hesitate to return when we're in the area... just wish we lived closer!

Had an amazing Birthday dinner. Food was outstanding, the wine was delicious and the service was wonderful. Would thoroughly recommend and will definitely visit again when we're in the area 😁

Incredible food. My girlfriend insists its the best food she's ever eaten and enquired about booking Christmas dinner and it's only October! Lovely staff as well and a great welcoming atmosphere. Plenty of parking and the seating both inside and outside was comfortably spaced out and all clean.
