As a wedding venue, Tyddyn Llan is quite marvellous. It's quaint, it's well looked after, it has a genuine vintage charm and the location is just beautiful.
Every member of staff was completely hospitable and welcoming. This is an absolute treasure of a venue.

Fabulous food and wine, wonderful staff, and beautiful buildings and gardens. Everything we ordered was beautifully presented, perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the menus/dishes were thoughtfully planned, with attention to local and seasonal produce (lucky them to be in gorgeous North Wales, with fabulous ingredients all around). Really special place - highly recommend!

While the food was tasty, nothing about our experience gave any impression of this restaurant having a Michelin star.

The menu offered a variety of options but the sauces/vegetables were very buttery making it a very heavy meal. In general the food was a bit like the dining room: old-fashioned and in need of an update. The majority of the patrons were seniors, so maybe this is a restaurant very much to their taste.

The young, blonde serving girl (sorry, didn't get her name) was lovely and did her job well but the restaurant manager didn't seem to have the level of experience in service I'd have expected.

Sadly overall it was an overpriced and underwhelming lunch.

Quite simply, the "Hidden Gem" of North Wales. Please look at my review on TripAdvisor.

First Visit - One word - REMARKABLE 👌🏼
No photos, completely forgot to take any …
UPDATE
Second Visit (5-6 November 2022)
This time we stayed over.
The food was even better than I remember … the Rib Eye Steak was hands down the very best I’ve had (as a South African we are spoilt with some of the finest beef in the world and finally found one to pip even the best I’ve had back home). Every other course and particularly the dessert course was Sublime! Top quality ingredients, perfectly seasoned and presented. I’ve had more exotic presentations of food that are more photogenic, but nothing quite so delicious.
I remembered to take photos this time, but due to very low lighting and just my phone to capture the image, they don’t do the food justice.
Breakfast was equally a treat and again ate too much.
Intended to drive back to London after checking out, but fatefully looked at the lunch menu before leaving and, yes, stayed on for a third round of hedonistic bliss 😆
Please ensure you find the time to visit this glorious establishment!

We are enjoying a wonderful stay here. Just eaten a fabulous 3 course meal with additional tasty little nibbles to start, and then a delicious complementary soup before the first course arrives. Each course was cooked to perfection and we'll balanced and seasoned just right. The staff were warm and welcoming. A wonderful way to celebrate our 20th anniversary. Thank you.

Tyddyn Llan truly deliver on all aspects of hospitality. Most importantly the food is outstanding. Bryan Webb is definitely a master of his craft. We are looking forward to coming back.

Outstanding cooking, fantastic local ingredients and the staff are wonderful. We’re going back again. Vegetarian, meat and fish dishes are all equally wonderful. The desserts are so delicious, wish I could have sampled them all!
