The staff were really friendly and helpful. Food was great too. The only thing though, my ears were hurting from a birthday bash from the next restaurant. We were placed right next to this shouting and screaming crowd. The restaurant could probably put some barriers in between to dampen the noise.

Food tasted good but can’t say it was very fresh. The king prawn appetizer made with frozen prawns (which no one will call King Prawn in size, large sure) was clearly microwaved, it was steaming in the middle and there was spatter on the side of the bowl.

It was also the same sauce they used for the arrabbiata. Which again, tasted fine but not very fresh. It was microwaved and so the pasta had a weird texture, the chicken pieces in it were quite bland but cooked properly.

We also had the bolognese which was honestly so disappointing, you’d think an Italian restaurant would be able to do a good bolognese. But it was extremely greasy with a pool of oil at the bottom of the plate and there was barely any sauce, the mince was pretty dry.

Cloudy lemonade did not taste much of lemonade. It was the same color as fresh cloudy apple juice. And it tasted like it was lemonade mixed with that. Quite strange.

Service was very good though, the servers were friendly and attentive.

Walking into Prezzo today it was quiet and we were sat very quickly by a lovely male server (didn’t catch his name but he had a septum piercing). He was incredibly accommodating and when I asked for a calorie free menu he went out of his way to go and find one! We ordered drinks and decided to go alcohol free, we tried both the strawberry and blood orange lemonade which were very tasty and well worth the money. The food was also very flavourful. We ordered calamari to start which was beautifully seasoned and wasn’t too chewy and the Tartar sauce was a nice compliment to them. For mains we had the chicken Alfredo which was once again beautiful, creamy and flavourful. The spaghetti bolognese was well seasoned and very tasty! And the chicken and pepper pizza was cooked beautifully, crispy base and lots of flavour!

Unfortunately the visit felt almost spoiled by the attitude of servers. It did take a good 20 minutes for us to even have our order taken but the food came out very quickly. When I asked a different server for a sharper knife/ pizza cutter for the pizza she looked at me with a very ‘fed up’ expression and then quite rudely pointed at the table we were sat at if to say go and sit down. After paying we waited for our friend to use the toilet and were stared at by a server who seemed annoyed that we were waiting around. Then whilst going to leave we said thank you (common decency) and were met with a very aggressive ‘bye.’ Nothing else. You would think after spending a considerable amount of money in a restaurant the customer service would be a lot more friendly. I work in the service industry and I understand it can be frustrating but unfortunately I wasn’t the only one in our group who felt the passive aggressiveness of the servers.

All in all; tasty food and drinks. The male server who sat us and took our order was lovely. It’s just a shame it was let down by the attitude of others.

The fried calamari was perfect!! Will come back again just for that item. Besides that Tiramisu was great too.

The food was great. One waitress had a foul attitude, and was quite rude when we were paying, so we left in quite a bad mood although the food was lovely. The other waiters were ok although they were quite busy so we didn't get much service.

Booked a table, glad we did as the Christmas shoppers were out in force.
Lovely friendly server (didn't catch their name).
Drinks were very expensive (soft drinks).
Really disappointed that I wasn't allowed to use a voucher to claim a birthday prosecco alongside tesco club card points; especially when clubcard points can't be used on drinks anyway. Just feel like their trying to catch you put rather than actually encourage you in with a free gift.
Even with club card points I felt it was very expensive. Nearly £30 pp for 1 soft drink a starters and a main.
Calamari was amazing! The mozarella were awful, think they'd bought on 3 for 2 in Tesco, id argue that they probably weren't even mozarella.
The mains were nice- burger, chicken milanese, pasta dishes.

The place was boiling hot!!! Even the staff looked like they were too hot bless them.
Overall most of the food was tasty, the server was great but it was expensive and I was disappointed about the vouchers- it would probably stop me returning as I'd look for better offers elsewhere.

Had a very nice meal in here, I've never seen my almost 4 year old eat so well. It's nice when you feel like the food is of the adult menu, only smaller. Thanks for fitting us in.

Very poor service today 27th Dec 2022 at Prezzo St David’s Centre Cardiff.
Had to wait over an hour for our main course.
No apology, said we’re busy!
I believe they lost our order as other customers who came in half an hour after us were served their food.
An apology and offer of a drink while waiting would have helped.
Staff were not interested.
This is the second time this has happened in the last month.
I did not complain last time but felt I needed to this time.
