Lovely lovely lovely food and staff. This was my first time here and the Sunday lunch was fabulous. Decent portion of meat with a slice of stuffing all nicely cooked. Tiny bit underwhelmed by my potato serving one roast and one boiled. This was slightly made up by the variety of vegetables, roast parsnips, carrots, mashed swede, broccoli/cauliflower mix all served in a sharing dish. Puddings were varied (fantastic because there seems to be an obsession with brownies and I hate them) and well made. Family member had cheesecake, good portion and the panacotta was delicious.
Staff were attentive and friendly. Easily the best eat out I've had this year ☺️

We had a family lunch at the Fountain today and it was absolutely fantastic. The staff were so friendly, welcoming and accommodating and the restaurant was spotless. The food was amazing, and very affordable, can't wait to return. See you very soon.

Three of us had lunch for my birthday today. We chose the 3 course specials.
The food was outstanding as usual, the atmosphere great, most importantly the staff are outstanding, courteous, knowledgeable and very efficient.
Thank you all for a great afternoon.
If you haven’t been here before, try it you won’t be disappointed.

A great place for pub grub.
We had a meal for two last night. This is a lovely place, very nice decor. I was pleased with the amount of veggie/ vegan main dishes although disappointed with the lack of vegan starters.
I chose the side of bread/oil/balsamic as my starter (was nice). My husband had Nacho's which were decent (good portions of salsa/sour cream/guac on the side).
For the main courses, he chose a Cajun chicken burger with chips, I had the aubergine stack with sauté potatoes. Both mains were very tasty and filling.
The staff were fantastic - quick, attentive and very friendly service.
Two courses for 2 people, two soft drinks and two large glasses of wine was about £55. We'll be happy to go back.

Great main course of beef medallions but the chicken goujon starter was a bit on the greasy side. My sons bass was slightly overcooked too. Disappointing after having had good meals here previously. Can't fault the service though.
