We visited this wonderful Bistro on 11th September. Absolutely fantastic, the maitre D was very polite and welcoming and at short notice he found a table for us even though they were fully booked and coping with Covid restrictions.

We had the lamb with vegetables which I highly recommend it was absolutely delish and for pudding we had the strawberry 🍓 Eton mess oh we were heaven.

And we had cocktails ooooohhhh I feel tipsy....🤪😂.

The staff were all friendly and attentive as I said if you visit Rossett this is the place to eat.

Great value for money.

Would definitely visit again.

Visited the hideout today for an anniversary meal , the food , service and overall experience were all amazing! Our waitress Evie was lovely and polite and made sure that we wanted for nothing during our meal. I Would definitely recommend the hideout to anyone wanting to celebrate a special occasion.
Thankyou for a lovely evening x

This is a lovely gem of a restaurant with fantastic food, recently went there for Sunday lunch, the starters me and my boyfriend had where divine, Best scallops I’ve ever had, and my boyfriend really enjoyed the pigeon.
The Sunday dinner is always lovely there and the beef was served perfect, pink just how it should be. Would 100% recommend

Best Sunday Dinner for miles! Beautiful food, beautiful venue and fabulous staff... there's nothing NOT to love❤
Eat in or take out, it's equally fabulous 🥰
We're also fans of their amazing burgers and pizzas, just sad we've moved a little further away and can't go as often.
Give it a try, I doubt you'll regret it☺

LET DOWN! - My wife and i met friends who had come over from Spain and decided to book the Hideout as we had previously dined here back in July, which was really lovely.
Unfortunately this visit was a total let down, the place was absolutely freezing with both customers wearing coats, hats and scarves and staff complaining that they were freezing almost huddled behind the bar at the end of the evening.
My wife and I decided to have Steak, mine medium-rare, my partners well-done...to say well-done was an understatement...it was like charcoal! Mine was cooked perfectly except it was stone cold, with mashed up chips!

Having to wait for wine may be forgiven as the young lady who we ordered from told us she forgot about it as she was freezing cold.....no fault of the girl but the owners! Obviously not thinking about the customers or staffs welfare during the coldest evening of the year! We all know the soaring cost of energy at the moment but surely a group of 4, spending over £150 would have covered the cost of heating for a few hours.....sitting next to a freezing cold radiator with a jacket on, eating stone cold food....not quite what we expected!

It was heaven getting out of there and crossing the road to the Golden Lion which was lovely and warm, welcoming, lit up with plenty of festive lights......i wont be returning to the Hideout!!!

Came for Sunday lunch after reading some great reviews online. We were not disappointed!

The staff are friendly and attentive. The Hideout has a really nice vibe and it's generally a lovely little space.

My starter pork tenderloin with black pudding crumb was beautiful. I had the lamb main course, my partner had the beef. Both were served rare and were absolutely stunning in flavour. Very generous tasty sides - including a seriously good cauliflower cheese, plenty of roast potatoes, and a gravy boat each 👌 Enjoyed the apricot bread and butter pudding to top it all off.

All of this very reasonably priced too, at under £25 for 3 courses... amazing value!

Can't wait to come back again.

Had Christmas Dinner here on a work do. There was 35 of us, didn't think they would fit us all in. But... it was awesome. Flood was actually brilliant, if they can do that for a big crowd then mist be amazing for a smaller table. Drinks were great and service was actually perfect. A great night. Well done to the team there, you were great
