Florries fish and chips

Worst food ever, chips have a crispy out side and greasy inside, the sausage is bland, rissol is like rubber. Curry sauce is like water, corner of their pasty was like rubber and was bland. I strongly believe that the seaguls would refuse that food. I will never eat there again

Straight into 2nd place of the worst chips ever. Very greasy chips, looked ok at first glance but very hard to eat, felt sick forcing myself to finish them, not much choice though when you’re hungry and have driven all the way there. I just don’t understand how a chip shop can’t cook chips properly? It’s literally all they do! Sausage was old, grey, dry, hard, obviously cooked off a long time beforehand.

Bit expensive, but to be expected given the location.
Lovely chips, had a small tray for two, sat, ate, and looked at the sea! 👍

OK, price is very slightly higher than average. We paid £25.80 for 3x cod & chips with 3 cans of drink (probably no different to other seaside places though I guess!)

However, the price was totally justified...... I don't know what the unhappy reviewers had (or expected) but all 3 of our cods were perfect. The fish was soft, tender and well cooked and the batter was delicious. The chips were equally great and we finished all three with great enthusiasm sat on the wall overlooking a beautiful sandy beach which was almost deserted. We couldn't be happier 😀

Disappointed! Tiniest piece of cod and it wasn't fresh half the chips were uneatable I threw away most of it. Definitely not worth £7.30

Not only was this the best fish and chips I've had for years, but sitting eating them while the sun set made them taste even better. It was a decent size bit of fish that light and fluffy as was the batter. The chips were cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of crunch. I can't recommend this fish and chip shop enough 😍

Very nice people. Very nice fish and chips.
Would have given 5 stars, but cod was rather small for the price, and although portions were served in recyclable dishes with a wooden fork, the cod was supplied with a plastic fork. I don’t understand why.
