Great little find in Newcastle Emlyn. Friendly service and the tastiest Sunday lunch we have have in a pub setting in years. Fresh produce and perfectly cooked. 10/10

Absolutely lovely!
Very friendly staff, car parking spaces out the back. A pub cat! Top notch grub, proper 8oz Welsh Lamb Steak with fresh veg and dauphinoise potato 👌 reasonably priced, and a nice outdoor garden to chill in. All in all, a worthwhile visit!

Nice little pub, cheap beers and the food was amazing. Would highly recommend, steak was lovely. Really good portions and proper old school pub home made chips.

Lovely welcoming dog friendly pub, good food with decent portions - we could only manage mains but the homemade desserts were extremely tempting. Cosy restaurant area at the back was an unexpected delight - perfect for a date night or lunch and not expensive.

Best Sunday lunch by far, well worth stopping after driving 290 miles!! Very welcoming, dogs also made welcome. Great atmosphere and the staff were lovely

First visit, initially disappointed as the pub was empty (Friday night 7pm). One other table of 8 dining. Chose Cannelloni, none available, then chose Scampi (pretty standard freezer item for a pub), none available. My last option was Chicken stack which thankfully they had. We had the garlic mushrooms to start, superb. Mains came out and the food was so delicious I forgot my disappointment and enjoyed one of the best meals I've ever tastes. A real hidden gem here and a MUST try. Food was gorgeous.

Brilliant town centre pub!
Very welcoming and accommodating.
Fast service, happy staff, accurate order taking and well priced. We travelled up from Oxford to visit family and will definitely come here again next time we visit!

Talented chef/s. Popped in mainly as they allowed dogs, so glad we did! The food was delicious and so much better than the usual 'pub grub'. Quirky place and worth a visit.
