Lovely setting, tasty food and friendly staff. We had the sandwiches as a light bite for lunch, mixed veg focaccia was full of delicious roasted vegetables. It’s a big portion so we’ll worth the money, salad, coleslaw and big sandwich with extra chips on the side. My dad had the BLT and was impressed with the ‘proper bacon’ that was cooked well.

I visit Foam regularly and it never disappoints. The food is outstanding and fresh from everyday menu to the sunday carvery amd recently has festive afternoontea which was perfect. The staff are very helpful. Highly recommended.

2nd visit went better than the first but we still arrived to be told they were not aware we had booked. Soon sorted and from there it went well. Adults enjoyed the food but the kids felt their portion was very small and had to have food from us, they are 7&8 boys. Their baked beans looked awful like they'd been left out all day, picture included. Lovely to see day turn to night and all the lights come on over the water. Waiter was attentive and helpful.

Had the most wonderful Christmas dinner. Both the service and food were fantastic. The meal was thoroughly enjoyed by us all … thank you Foam for a great day

Did a random walk in with the wife, daughter and our dog and the staff were attentative and accomodating. Provided 2 options for seating, inside or out. Menu had good options for vegetarians / vegans. Service was well paced and the food was of great quality. Wife enjoyed the gins, I felt the drinks menu could do with more local craft and cask offerings but other than that a great meal, with exceptional views of the estuary and coast line.

Have eaten here on several occasions, was our go to place for lunch, however today the quality of food was not to previous standards.

Previous fish finger sandwich was bursting with lovely fresh goujons of battered fish, sadly not today. Sandwich had 3 skinny frozen fish fingers, not even chunky fish fingers, so disappointing for nearly £10... The waitress kindly arranged to deduct 50% off this sandwich, to be honest £5 for a 3 skinny fish finger sandwich is still too much.

The other sandwich of chicken, chorizo and melted cheese was ok, but definitely not up to previous standard.

The serving staff were lovely and polite as always, but they did appear to be a bit rushed off their feet and service slower than previous visits during busier times of the year.

Proprietor has to remember that locals support local businesses outside of holiday season and if they lower the quality of their food people won't come back.....

Lovely view - and nice staff. But the service every time is so slow. Once we were the only group here and still waited 30 minutes for drinks. Second time here, where food was not even being served that day, took 20 minutes to even have a drink. Always fully staffed so hard to understand why things take so long - especially when orders are just for four cokes. Or one bottle of wine the first time.
