Had my first roast meal here and absolutely fell in love with the place and food. The service is friendly and quick.
I ordered the Vegan Wellington and it was fantastic. The gravy was delicious and the veggies were fresh.
It was great to see some vegan options for dessert!

The pub itself had a really cozy vibe and I really enjoyed my meal here :)

Went on Saturday the 30/04/22, despite being very very busy they got us a table with no reservation (although I'd advise booking to avoid disappointment). The food was beautiful, I had garlic mushrooms for starters, steak & ale pie for mains and apple pie for dessert, the food was beautiful & our server couldn't have been more polite despite being under a lot of pressure. I would highly recommend a visit if you're in the area.

Highly recommend. We had our 25th Anniversary meal here and everything was perfect. The food was lovely and the guests with special dietary needs were well catered for. Excellent service and some lovely touches added. Thank you for making us feel so welcome and making the night special.

First time here, but will definitely come again. Good choice of vegan options, although not shown on the menu. I had the beetroot Wellington, which was absolutely lovely. Also choices for my wife who is vegan and gluten intolerant. Several vegan desserts available too. Very reasonably priced and lovely surroundings with friendly staff

Had a lovely meal for my brother's 50th. Couldn't fault anything. Food was lovely. Lovely Christmas decorations and a nice log burner going to keep us warm on a very cold night. Would highly recommend and will definitely be going back again.

25/11/22: Usk & Cardiff Weekend

Lovely little pub, dog friendly in the bar area. Small selection of craft ale.
