Steak and Stamp

We discovered this gem when three of us stayed at the Airbnb in the village. The steaks are very good, quality is superb and the cooking by the chef is amazing. The meat was very tender, juicy and melt in the mouth. The sides were also very good and the portions were generous. We shared starters and steaks and dessert and they were all very delicious. If you are four or more, definitely try out their sharing or banquet menu. The next table of four ordered this and it was such a showstopper, the presentation was mouthwatering, portions were very generous and appeared very good value. The staff are super friendly and very efficient and sleek for a small team. The atmosphere is very good too, informal and warm. Definitely recommend this if you are around the area.

What a find working late, stopped for some food and my colleague suggested a steak house and up popped this beauty on Google Maps. Got there and it was full except one table which we had and the atmosphere was amazing. The front house was so friendly and welcoming, we ordered and our food was out in no time all cooked perfectly! Everything was gorgeous, perfect medium steak, amazing chips and a super yummy salad. I tried the local lager which was also lovely and thoroughly enjoyed myself. I wish I could've stayed longer but had to rush back to work 🤦🏻‍♂️ definitely a 10/10 and I'll will definitely come back next time I'm in the area 💯👍🏻

Incredible food and fantastic staff. Mixed grill and crispy beef filet starter was out of this world! The amount of food was absolutely unbelievable. I'm very rarely unable to finish my food but the mixed grill defeated me! Luckily I was able to take leftovers home and had a chicken & steak sandwich the day after.

At just over £30 per head for a soft drink, starters and main I think its fantastic value for money especially given the quality of food.

Lovely experience in a very friendly, independent restaurant. The steaks were delicious. Everything was very well presented, with a lot of obvious care and attention. Service was friendly and paced well. Prices were good. We would definitely return.

Wow wow wow, discovered this place through a friend and what a find indeed. We had an amazing evening with the best steak I have ever had. We were seated in our own shed!!!! which was just so cosy and private, staff were chatty and so welcoming. Before leaving we booked again as we were so impressed which we rarely do. This place has to be tried to be fully appreciated

First date night in 3 years. Worth the wait! Everything from start to finish was lovely, great atmosphere, amazing food and such a warm welcome......the bar 3 doors down (owned by Steak and stamp) where we waited until our table was ready was really cosy and welcoming. Highly recommended if you like Steak, the cuts were like butter and the sides were perfect. Loved it so much, we booked for our friends to come in January as we were paying the bill. I cannot thank the staff of Steak and Stamp enough for making us feel so welcome last night, it was my partners birthday and they made the evening so special. No over exaggeration but the steak was hands down the best we have ever had, melts in your mouth with so much flavour. The sides were amazing too, and they brought out a free slice of cheesecake with a candle. I can't recommend enough, we will definitely be going again!
