In all fairness the owners cant take criticism clearly the food was terrible id rather buy a rustlers burger than pay them prices again easy worst meal iv brought definitely dont recommended pop in the garage staff was ok tho 👌 add on reply definitely was not a freshly cook burger was cremated past the point of dry i think you need to try the food before replying

Great breakfast, beats the service stations hands down. If your heading west keep going after M4 until you reach here. Proper pots of tea as well.

Booked a table for 12 at very last minute and the ladies were more than Happy to accommodate the service was brilliant the ladies were amazing and the food was lovely highly recommend the hunters chicken 5*'s highly recommend

I only knew they were open because my wife had visited there last week.

They need a large sign to show they are open or they will.miss a lot of passing trade which will be a shame.

Will definitely visit again.

This was our first visit to The Forge since it changed hands. The food is nowhere near as good and is far more expensive. Bland, tasteless chips....no tartare sauce available. We had a totally disinterested waiter who really didn't care at all. When he cleared our plates he didn't asked if everything was okay. If he had I would've mentioned all this. Our table was also very sticky and covered in salt. I cleaned it with a wipe I had in my bag. I did mentioned this to another waitress who said this was caused by the cleaning product they used. It seems ridiculous that they can't find a cleaner which doesn't leave the tables sticky. We've been going to The Forge for years and always enjoyed excellent food and service. This is so sad!

Services wasn't the best. Peas were cold , ate nearly all my meal before peas were replaced. Offered sauces etc but didn't bring. Really disappointed as travelled 3 hours to get here.My friends had chips but they were all scraps of chips,others receiving chips you could see steam and chips looked lovely & fresh

What can I say. My wife and I were visiting the area as we were looking to move here and we’re visiting properties. This was an ideal base and the large icing on the cake was the service we received from all the staff and the really good food. The staff could not do enough to cater for our unusual eating habits due to our medical conditions. I would totally recommend a stop if passing for a great meal or like us if you need accommodation as well.
