The breakfast was awesome 🤩. Lovely staff and quick service. Huge range of food and perfect sized breakfasts. Totally recommend here especially with younger children because there is a massive menu range. Definitely coming back! Also the price was very good, not to expensive for the quality of food that you get!

Visited yesterday for a Milkshake and Cake which cost over £8. So thought that was expensive for a cafe off a side street. Will not be visiting again.

Really good portions, reasonably priced, tasty food. We had a panini chicken tikka with cheese and partner had the chicken tikka baguette. Lovely. Fantastic service, staff very knowledgeable and attentive. The place needs updating, but you can’t fault the food or service.

Dined in and the food was great. I had a baguette which was a really good sized portion and delicious. Tried a cake too which was also delicious. The service was friendly and quick. The only negative was that there was some confusion about which of the smoothies listed on the menu they actually had. However overall I would recommend the Carlton.

Went in for a breakfast with my mom there. The food was lovely and so was the staff, very friendly atmosphere through and through. Definitely would recommend popping in for a full English :)

We have been going to The Carlton for years now,as we holiday in Aberystwyth a few times a year. But last year wasn't as good so we went again on the 22/10/22 for lunch to see if any better and unfortunately it wasn't.The food is lovely and not a bad choice of menu. But the service is so slow,we waited about 20 mins before our order was taken then about 15mins on top of that for our drinks.I appreciate they were busy, but quite a few customers were not happy that day.Its as if the staff get lost in orders then you get forgotten as they can't remember how long it's been before they finally get your drinks. The prices aren't too bad but again for what you pay it needs to improve a little.

Nice place seems good from the outside and when first seating, however found the food to be a bit mediocre, a lot of the fried food stuff was saturated with oil rather than being drained out, toast was burnt, and food items that were requested to be taken off on ordering weren’t taken off, if that were an allergy then a person may have had a serious complaint. However the price is reflective of what you get and the place is relatively cheap.
