The Wolfe Inn Wolfscastle

Firstly we were just glad to find somewhere open and not using the Queen's passing as an excuse to leave work early. So this was an unplanned find.

The food was excellent, we all had a different burger each and they were very good! Fries were crisp too. Mozzarella sticks were spot on. And the apple crumble was great.

Atmosphere was nice and staff were lovely too. A gem of a find even if it was just by chance.

A friend my wife our dogs and I stopped here for lunch today without a booking. The young lady greeting and serving us could not have been more helpful. Our meals were very good. The whole ambience of the pub is excellent.

Lovely restaurant. The quality of the food is good and it's very tasty. The restaurant is very spacious. We sat in the conservatory area with natural light. A very satisfactory meal. We will definitely visit again.

What a wonderful pub. Your staff are amazing...really friendly and warm, food was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and thankyou so much for letting us stay with our vans after drink our meals and drinks. Highly recommend you guys to everyone. So welcoming and lovely 😍

We popped in on the of chance to see if we could get a table, we were greeted by a pleasant young lady. The food was excellent and value for money and both full afterwards and the best thing for us they are dog friendly in the bar see you on our next visit when we are in the area. Sorry no pics of the food to hungry lol.

Went for a family meal and wasn't disappointed. The menu isn't big, but enough choice for most people. The food was amazing, really lovely attention to detail. I had ribeye steak with creamy garlic mash and a side of garlic cheesy bread. Best meal I have had in a long time. Service was brilliant too. Will definitely be going back.

The food was absolutely amazing, the staff was lovely and friendly, beautifully decorated and great atmosphere... Highly recommend to anyone. Definitely going back there 👌.

Excellent service and quality food, locally sourced and made from scratch, including a top quality pie.. I enjoyed the touches of a jug of water with a slice of lemon served without asking and just gorgeous home made bread and hand churned butter whilst you're waiting. . A big bonus for us is that our dog, which we can't leave at home because of separation anxiety, was allowed in too. Pet friendly gets the thumbs up from us.
