Beech Tree Fish Bar

Stopped in on the way to Cwmbran as we were starving. I would go out of my way to get chips here. They weren't greasy, they were hot, fresh, and really tasty. We arrived 10 mins before closing and there was still really good food on offer.

We had 3 jumbo sausage, a pie, a rissole, 2 large chips, a chips and beans, and 5 cans for just over 23 quid. All my teenagers are stuffed which never happens to the seemingly bottomless pits.

Fish very small portions for £5 chips have been better in the past must have been an off day nice premises even serve icecream

They only use the best quality produce, the food is delicious. The shop is tastefully decorated and welcoming whether you want their delicious fish and chips or their fabulous ice creams. Great value for money.

The best Chippy in Ystrad by a country mile. Called in today for the 1st time instead of having the usual dregs from New Ystrad fish bar. This place is superb. Freshly cooked chips and delightful service and very efficent . This will now be my local chippy. Superb place

Great food cooked to perfection lots of customers there but well organised and polite staff very efficient exactly what most other takeaways lack will definitely return 👍

Been eating here for over 40 years ... still top quality and reasonably priced ... I'd never go anywhere else
