Great friendly service and seem to genuinely want your visit to be great. Portion size is what you may of heard... it's big! Steaks are huge from beef to gammon to lamb , prices are very reasonable considering what you will have on your plate, also want to give a shout out to the peas ! Not alot of places get them right but they was spot on here green soft and full of flavour 😁, don't worry if you can't eat all just pack it up and bring it home for a sandwich next day :) , it's abit out of the way but definitely worth a visit.

Lovely refurb, very modern interior. Very dog friendly, ours was treated like a prince! Della the owner couldn't do enough to help, very friendly and accommodating. Good food choices, would definitely go back.

Such a nice country pub which also does accommodation. Great staff and had a friendly welcome and conversation with the owner Chris.
Ordered the prices burger and it was phenomenal. 10/10

I highly recommend this place. Me and my missus visited on Wednesday last week. It was relatively quiet for the time but we were there early evening. The barman (I sadly do not know his name) was extremely friendly and gave us a cheery hello as we walked in, which made us feel instantly relaxed and welcomed. He could also not do enough for us. Anything we needed, He was happy to help. So 5/5 for service so far!

Now onto the food.

It can be summed up in one phrase. Worth. The. Trip.

The portions sizes are insane for the price you pay, and are delicious. The menu itself is varied, with something for everyone. We have visited here a fair few times (it's our go-to for when we decide to have a "date-night"). The food is well presented for the size, and is great value for money. The food tastes great and is well worth the time you spend waiting for it to arrive. Every time I order "The prices hog" which is an incredibly large mixed-grill. You're given a variety of different cuts of meat, a sausage, mushrooms etc (see photos for more) for the price of £21. Let me say that again £21. You go to somewhere like Swansea or Cardiff and £21 gets you a burger and half a pint of coke. So this place is definitely worth the visit even for money saved on fuel.

Overall we spent £73 on 2 starters, 2 mains and 2 biscoff cheesecakes and a few cans of soft drink (that's the only somewhat negative, that they do not have soft drinks on draught)

So, to sum up. This place has something for everyone, at great prices, with amazing service. I highly recommend!
