We stopped here for lunch half-way along a long drive. There was a great varied menu catering for all diets. The food came quickly and was delicious. The staff were super friendly. Glad we stopped! Would recommend!

Great stop over in a field right next to the pub, for moho's or camper vans, free if you have a meal or drink. Busy road though so noisy. Staff friendly. Manager kindly gave our dog a free sausage. Food nice pub grub. Would recommend.

We had the best experience ever, food was superb, all staff were so friendly and really helped us when we needed a place to eat to celebrate a 16th birthday. They are also dog friendly which is fantastic! Thank you so much

Was a beutiful meal. A perfect place to stop and celebrate a special time with my family after such a long time. The staff had no idea how special this day was for us ! I will return there to tell them and enjoy yet another meal there ! Thank you x

Second time visiting, rather disappointing. Service was excellent, food another story. Had roast Sunday lunch, roast potatoes very soft and flowery no colour and mash was either frozen or instant, no seasoning or butter..When asked if dessert was home made, got told yes, in fact was a brought in product.Would have expected a little more of home made produce for the price we paid.

Everything about our visit was perfect. Staff were friendly, pub was cosy and had a lovely atmosphere, food was prompt, fresh, good portions and tasted delicious, and reasonably priced. Will definitely be booking again.

We called in here after a visit to Powis Castle. Friendly staff, pleasant food and surroundings. The menu has plenty of good options for meat eaters and vegetarians. We would definitely pop in again if passing.

We arrived with no booking during the week (never been before as we were just driving past on our way to Wales and decided to stop in) with our cocker spaniel and were greeted with a friendly welcome my the staff and they took our order at the table.

We couldn’t fault our experience, we both had fish & chips which was delicious! Piping hot, arrived in good time and plentiful portion. One of the staff (I think he may have been the manager) even took the time to say hello to our dog.

Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area!
