We had a very complicated 300 year old Grade II roof that required stripping, repairing and re roofing. The job required specialist knowledge of roof construction and care and sympathy to put it back to fit the buildings history. We spent over 4 months trying to find someone who could meet our needs and we saw that in Dan and his team. Practical, full of common sense, extremely knowledgeable and from all the quotes we had sensibly priced. My wife and I could not recommend this company enough. The work that has been carried out on our forever home is of the highest standard and Dan helped us every step of the way often going above and beyond to rectify issues most other companies would have either ignored, charged extra or told you to get another trade in to fix.

I have been so impressed with the team who are a really great bunch. They turn up early doors and put in a solid days work. Dan is the most trustworthy and loyal business owner I have ever met. He delivers when he says he will and I’ve even tried to give him money and he won’t take it until he feels he has met his stage.

I could not recommend this company enough. If you ever want to see his work you are more than welcome to come and see my house. I can’t tell you how lucky we are to have found them. Thank you guys!

Daniel and I have worked on many projects together over the last eight years or so.

These have varied from small simple repairs to complete re-roofing projects, such as The Old Priory in Stratford where Daniel re-slated all 16 roof slopes; insulated and refurbished all of the valley gutters and three large flat roofs together with rebuilding four complicated lead bays.

His knowledge and attention to detail are exemplary, he will always be my go-to-guy for any roofing project.

Dan and his team were very friendly and did a superb job. They kept us informed of updates and came when they said they would. All job was done to a very good standard and at a good price. A clean job no mess was left behind. Will use the team again and would highly recommend to others.

I cant comment on the standard of work or work ethic. The chap seemed pretty clued up but after initially coming to look at my roof, I've chased a few times for the quote and havent been acknowledged or responded to which is disappointing.

What a fantastic attitude and service! Dan and his dad were working on my neighbours roof following the storm and after they arrived, assessed the damaged (and missing!) roof tiles, they had come back quickly the following day to repair them. My roof was fine! Undamaged and we had missed the storm but I had a leak on my gutter, at the highest level and was struggling to get anyone to look at it. I had resigned myself to having to try and borrow a ladder, brave the heights and see if I could at least understand why it leaked. I asked Dan if he would check it for me and not only did Dan (and his Dad) look at it – they told me the problem and then returned a couple of days later, replaced the rubbers and refused to take even a token payment. “No trouble” was the comment from them both. I know where I shall go should I need any roofing work in future. Thank you Daniel Ellis Roofing - it is really appreciated. Hip ridge removed and re-bedded. Valley re-pointed. Broken tiles replaced. Installed soffit edging all round so rainwater goes straight into gutter. Thanks Dan and George. Real professional job. Clean workers. Also good price. Thank you again. Paul

Daniel and his Dad were a pleasure to deal with. They did a great job of repairing my Mum's roof. They even came out on a Sunday to make a temporary fix before returning a few days later to strip the valley and do a complete repair. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them for any roof work.
