I had extensive work done to my roof, chimney stacks and roof-level party walls by TCK Roofing and I am overall very happy with the result. This was not a low cost project. I wanted and got a thorough repair, backed up by a full statement of what had been done with a signed, dated and stamped 20 year guarantee certificate. I saw the work both in progress and at the end by going up onto the roof (supervised!).On the first occasion I went up, I was shown that more needed to be done than was originally quoted for. Worried by the extra cost I initially declined to have the extra work done, but TCK proved flexible and I changed my mind. At the end I saw that the work as a whole was careful, thorough and neat. Not cheap, but value for money in my judgement.
On the personal side, Thomas Keaney was very courteous, helpful and informative, taking time to explain to me some relevant facts about roofing which a layman would not know. Apart from the scaffolders, there was no contracting out and no disappearing to work on another job. I was very happy with the considerate and respectful interactions I had with the TCK roofers Peter and Mario and their manager Eugene. Though working at home, I was not troubled at all. They sometimes had the radio on but kept it very quiet. They asked to plug in a power cable (passed through my letter box) and they asked to use my hose — that was all. I was impressed by how hard they worked even during the searing heat, starting promptly at 8am and ending at 5pm every day. At the end of each day they tidied up and lifted the lower ladders away from the ground. After the work was finally done, they not only cleared up but also cleaned my back yard, leaving it in a far better state than they had found it. The scaffolders could have removed the scaffolding a couple of days earlier — a very minor complaint and not the note I want to end on. Overall I feel I can strongly recommend TCK roofing.

Incredibly helpful company, offered lots of advice on how to help sort our issue with inaccessible downpipes and weren't trying to sell expensive solutions for the problem - instead were really focused on what needed to be done and reassured us that some of the things we thought might need attention were not urgent. Based on our experience, when we need more doing in the future, I wouldn't consider asking anyone else.

I would say I was very lucky to find this company. We had a damaged chimney due to the removal of an old aerial. Mr Keaney made a site visit and we received a prompt quote. From there, discoveries were made regarding the state of our very old roof and other chimneys. I very rarely make comments, but the service of the company and its team was faultless. I would thoroughly recommend. Our team was led by Thomas, and they carried out the work professionally and courteously.

TCK and Thomas restored my faith in roofers. Having dealt with several extremely unprofessional roofers, TCK set out exactly what they would do, the cost and promised to provide a detailed report, all of which they did. Their report was thorough and detailed, and provided me with vital information as to the state of the property I was looking at. Thomas is both knowledge, honest and extremely well mannered, and goes above and beyond his remit. It's clear that TCK care about customer service and providing a good quality service. Their honesty and professionalism is an admirable trait that is not something that can be taken for granted.

I can thoroughly recommend this company, who have done two major roofing jobs for me. I have a detached house with two gable walls. In 2017, they replaced all the bargeboards and soffits to the gables, and fascia boards, soffits and guttering to the front and back walls. In doing so they had to remove and dispose of the existing asbestos cement soffit boards, which they did in a careful, thoroughly safe and regulation-compliant manner. They carried out timber repair works to the ends of roof rafters where there was rot and decay (fitting new sections of timber where necessary) and mortar repairs to the gable verges, all at no extra charge to the original quoted price. The standard of workmanship was immaculate. Thomas obligingly waited six months for me to pay because he understood that my ability to do this depended on my obtaining the money by releasing equity on the property. The beautiful new roof greatly facilitated my getting a really good valuation. Stephen was site foreman, and is a perfectionist, and will not countenance sub-standard work. He told me he has left his initials in the gable verge cement pointing (just like medieval carpenters used to do on their timber joints) such is his pride in his work. They have just done another job for me, which was re-felting my garage flat roof. Thomas again valued honour and goodwill above profit, when he stuck to his original quotation in spite of fitting new fascia boards, which were not quoted for. I had considered that these were not necessary, but perfectionist Stephen couldn't bring himself to provide anything other than the bee's knees in quality.

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank the team at TCK Roofing for a brilliant service. It is never easy when you find a leak in your roof. After some research, I'm really glad to have contacted TCK Roofing. From the the initial survey to the completion of works, their service was simply outstanding! Everyone that I've spoken to from TCK has been courteous and professional throughout.
Futhermore, the on site team was punctual, tidy and very considerate (we have a 2 year old child so they did keep the noise level down during nap times)! We were well informed throughout the process and were also invited to safely climb on the roof to talk through the issues and their resolutions. Overall, I can highly recommend using TCK to solve all your roofing problems!

Did not return phone call after saying would call mid-week. Rang again and this time made an appointment. Did not turn up!
