The property lost three end tile edging pieces in the gales on February 18th. Orchards came and assessed the damage at £1200 but wouldn't give us a written estimate. Why? Eventually got the work done by another firm for £390. Caveat emptor.

I used Orchards roofing back in March 2022 and I’m still waiting for them to finish the repair almost a year later…all started off great, I got a quote and was quickly booked in to do the replacement and repair on the roof. Some additional rotten timber was found and replaced during the works which was to be expected on such an old house and I happily paid the additional money needed for the work. About 2 weeks after the work had finished I noticed a huge crack in one of the supporting roof timbers. I contacted James straight away with photos and was promised they would come out as soon as possible to repair. Almost a year later I’m still waiting for it to be fixed and the 10 year guarantee isn’t worth the paper it’s written on. I’ve given enough opportunities and chases for the work to be rectified but will now have to pay someone to fix the problems left. And feel it’s only right to leave a review to warn anyone else

From turning up on time to quote to finishing off our new roof was all done in a very professional manner.

Even when we changed things slightly nothing was a problem for this company they went out of their way to make our project perfect.

James and his crew have been invaluable. Could not recommend them more. We asked James for quotes for replacement of two roofs, one traditional slate on a three storey building and another flat roof that had previously been 'replaced' two years ago but had leaked constantly since installation. He and his crew diligently worked through the heatwave to fix one roof and have done a professional and thorough job - no more leaks every time the sky even dribbled! They then managed to reinstall the flat roof, replacing all underlay and several rotted beams (a job the original builder quoted as taking 2 weeks) in 4 days and it's been watertight after some heavy rain tested it almost immediately. James has been responsive and attentive, the crew are all polite and professional chaps, and the job has finally been properly completed, much to my relief after two soggy years and countless boxes of ruined stock. Can't thank them all enough.

We needed an emergency repair to the roof above our bay window, Orchard Roofing were prompt, helpful, polite and knowledgeable. they were not the cheapest quote I had, however, you get what you pay for and these guys are worth every penny.
