This company took on the job of upgrading my back garden. Big Jim as I called him came & gave me the quote which I accepted. On the day the work started, big Jim arrived with little Jim as I called him. Two nicer people I couldn't have wished to meet. The day after the work was started, I saw Mr. Campbell's review. Have to admit the review worried me slightly. Although, along the way we had a few set backs, I was able to discuss them with big Jim & he was always very pleasant. As for little Jim & the young lad that was helping him, they were true grafters & always helpful. I'm very happy with the finished work they did for me & would say to Mr. Campbell, treat people how you would wish to be treated. I would recommend this company & would consider using them again if I needed any more work done.

I cannot recommend avoiding this company enough. Having declared the job complete (while issues were left to be rectified), we were asked to settle up before he had even removed his equipment and rubbish or completed repairs to the work carried out. This is on top of already paying 78% of the money to watch him sit in his van six hours a day while he leaves one guy to do all the work. A week later, those issues have only just been rectified and the site cleared.

Jim’s attitude towards his customers needs a lot of work - saying one thing and doing another with no explanation or communication about any change of plans. When we asked why parts of the project were verging away from what was discussed, he decided that shouting down the phone with, “I’m going to do it, and you’re going to like it”, before hanging up the phone, was the appropriate course of action. But of course he’s a man of his word…..when it pleases him.

There was also an incident involving a child with a utility knife found at the side of the road on top of one of his rubble bags but we’ll leave that for a follow up…

Did a good job on re laying and extending my patio in back garden and replacing slabs and steps at front of house. Very professional and hard working, will use them again when I have more work done. Very pleased with the work.

Contacted me to supply a quote for a kitchen extension. Arranged a date but he called a couple of hours before to cancel and rearrange, agreed to rearrange rang again with an excuse rearranged again and didn't turn up. What an absolute waste of time do not use.

I had a first class service from AEUK they did my patio area and fence would highly recommend, very polite and great work ethics.

Really pleased with the quality of the steps and paving work done and completed with the timeframe.
