Stayed for a two week period whilst working in the area. Lovely site, very peaceful and quiet just off a country road. Very pleasant owners. No toilet or shower facilities though, so ensure you have provision elsewhere here if planning to stay. Although taking this into consideration the £9.00 nightly charge plus electric is very reasonable!! Great place to sit,chat relax and just watch the world go by...

If I could give minus points I would. A lovely lady answered the phone when we first arrived and we made arrangements with her. Later a "gentleman" called us, and what a contrast! He was rude, unpleasant, offensive and downright unpleasant on the telephone, I'm glad we spoke to him before we actually took the caravan there! He really upset me and was so unpleasant to me, even my OH got mad and that doesn't happen often!

Mick at hilltop is prob the most friendliest person you can meet on a campsite , he has built and maintained this small quiet site for many years and often has only a few spaces due to people rebooking. We have used his site in total over the years of about 6 months all added together . Unfortunately we won’t be back as we moved to Spain , we miss the shooting too. No facilities, just a quiet caravan park for a peaceful and relaxing stay. Owners very friendly, pub, small shop and takeaway 10 Mon. walk away, nearest supermarket about 3 mile away. Pub food very tasty and dog friendly as is the caravan park. I'd come again without a doubt.

All good, nice location, electric available but you pay for what you use, water taps available and toilet waste facility. Great village pub 5 mins walk at bottom of the hill.

Lovely quiet small site, in beautiful rural setting. Very welcoming would recommend you visit , you do need to have your own toilet and wash facilities. Nice walk along country lane to local pub, restaurant and general store. Quaint village.🙂🥰
