Really welcoming and friendly owners, they have so much information and knowledge about the local area! Full of recommendations and couldn't do more for you.

Wonderful owners, very considerate. First place we have been offered a drink on arrival. Made us feel super welcome after a long drive

Brilliant little CL site. From the moment you turn of the road you know its going to be special. The attention to detail is second to none. Four hard standing pitches with plenty of space and one grass pitch. Brick built building containing chemical toilet disposal point. Also there you will find bins and recycling points, toilet with basin. And bicycle secure lock up. There's also a summer house containing information on the local area and guest comment book. Out side table and chairs just in front of the summer house. The grassed area is more like lawns. And very well kept. We never saw any of the wild life, the wild boar 🐗 was about, but not to be seen from our pitch. Site is handy for lots of interesting places. This is one CL site we will definitely be revisiting, hopefully.

Such a lovely site. The owners are so sweet and helpful, offering a cuppa on arrival. We wandered round their large garden and had the carp feeding from our fingers. An odd sensation. There's a cute summerhouse with brochures of the area. No showers though. However the toilet and waste areas are very clean and well presented. We were given ideas to go for a walk and Puzzle Wood was suggested which was amazing. 5 min walk to a very good pub, The Miners for Sunday lunch. The only reason for 4* was the busy road which was quite noisy though we slept reasonably well

Stayed here for 8 nights met Mary who showed us to our pitch and gave us 6 eggs from her free range hens. There are 4 hard standings in a row, they are quite closely spaced, with grass if preferred which is further away. There are toilets and recycle bins but they are a distance from the hard standings. Road noise is prominent.

Besides some daytime road noise, the site is excellent. 4 hard/grass pitches on lower section and facilities block and 5th grass on upper section. Mary was a delight to meet. Well kept site. Would def go back.
