Very quiet site used by older clientele and a few families. Most folk own their static caravan or chalet, renting is not prevalent. No shops or clubs on site, that for me is a bonus as it adds to the calmness of the site. Long may it last.

Father in law has a chalet on site & we always love visiting! Kids love the play area and the fact they can play outside without worrying about cars speeding! Lovely little site x

Very friendly people live on the site of the caravan park. It is a very nice and quiet Caravan site, more for the older generation. Little park for children to run around and play on but it is very outdated. The park is surrounded by a field which is good for sports games. They have a nice kids sports club for children in the summer holidays. The caravan park has no swimming pool, pubs or restaurants on site, but easy 5 minute walk across the road to the sea wall where there are pubs, parks and the sea itself.

It's a nice caravan park; mostly static caravans, some lovely chalets around the central field that has a play area. Short walk to the river. Slightly longer walk to Heybridge Basin (play areas, pub/restaurants, ice cream and canal with boat trips, nature reserve). Also walkable to Goldhanger; more pub/restaurants and more swimming, if you want. Maldon/Heybridge also very close.

Hoped to buy a static caravan here , nice site but unfortunately was only allowed 2 dogs, despite telling both park warden and park Manager that i had 3 tiny dogs,so after agreeing sale with caravan owner and getting references i was then told i wasnt allowed 3 dogs, annoyed and upset does not put into words ... it seems it doesnt matter how many kids you have ( and trust me my 3 dogs are better behaved than most children) or cats your allowed to have youcan only have 2 dogs.. its like being in the dark ages, about time this site got into the 20th century, wouldn't exactly call it a warm welcome from Manager either

Most owners take pride in their plots, but some are a "little disappointing". The staff are friendly & helpful. Overall, it is very good value for money.

A really lovely little caravan park. Private gardens for all caravans and chalets. Nothing for children other than a field to play in. Lovely walks around for ramblers and dog walkers as plenty of public footpaths and also just across the road is the sea wall where you can walk to maldon Town but stop off at the Heybridge basin with lovely cafes and pubs and just before a fantastic play park. The site is lively and quiet other than the fantastic fireworks displays that can be seen from here that the manner house behind put on for weddings and events.
