Lovely campsite with friendly staff. Immaculately clean shower and washing area. A bit dated but very well kept. Gate at the bottom straight onto the granet way cycle track. Only marked it down because a bit to close to main road with a lot of road noise..

A well kept , slightly sloping, small site. Hard standing and grass pitches ith and without hook up.The owners are very friendly and also have a tiny shop in the reception area. It's an ideal base from which to explore Dartmoor national park . There is a pub just in front of the site "The pump and pedal " and also a cycle hire shop if you want to ride the cycle way that runs behind the site .
Now the bad points.
The site is right next to the busy A30 Okehampton bypass so is very noisy 24/7 . I went to Tesco in Launceston and got some gell ear plugs as I was unable to sleep the first night but boy did I sleep the next three .
The only other problem for myself was the toilet block. It is immaculate and up to date with showers and washing and drying machines, but it is situated at the opposite end of the site and if , like me , you have trouble walking, it is a bit of a hike and a bind when you need to go.
All in all a great site if you deaf and fit 👍🏻 😉
If not still a good site with ear plugs 👌

Well kept and clean site, but really it was too close to the A30 to sleep because of the traffic noise. Maybe it's better for caravans or deep sleepers

Stayed here for one night as we were in transit!
Lovely site, clean and good facilities!
Would return
Only issue is a busy A30 but that can’t be helped

We really enjoyed the stay. It was easy to find and they were very accommodating. Other reviews mentioned the noise from the bypass but we camped at the bottom end of the site where it was really quiet and peaceful. The amenities block was well looked after unlike other sites I have used. The price was also very reasonable.

Lovely quiet site. You get a bit of road noise but we just used earplugs. Toilets and showers clean and all that you need. Lovely pub and bike shop joined on to the site. You can sit outside and have a nice drink. At the end of the campsite you can access the granite way cycle path. Pitch’s are flat. Would recommend

Good location for access to moors and Granite way, or stop off en route as just off A30. Clean if dated facilities. Bus stop 5 minutes walk. Pump and Pedal, bicycle sales and repair next door with licensed cafe.
