Love this place, only up the road from us, perfect for a quick getaway . Fab base for exploring beautiful Cannock chase. Owner is very accomodating, small summer house on site where the owner leaves fruit crumbles to purchase,alongside eggs , & home made jam. We visit regularly & never had any issues, really fab site & well worth the price.

Constant power cuts to whole camp! Please believe the reviews stating there are power cuts to the camp, they are constant! The electric blows at the house not at the electric boxes so everyone has to wait for the owner to put the electric back on, who is extremely rude. She comes knocking on van doors accusing people of having faulty leads when the truth is she has too many caravans on for the electric system to cope. The access is awful half an uphill unpassable lane! If you bump into another van one of you will have to reverse either down or up hill for half an hour. You have been warned!! Ground is soaking quick mud. Sorry easter weekenders!

Brilliant local get away hidden on the chase, near tackaroo and great walks all over the area. No shower or toilet block but the bargain price of £12.50 pn!

If there were 10 stars it wouldn't be enough. Pat, Trevor and Ross - we love you and we will always love you. So hospitable, unbelievably helpful in our hour of need..... Our first sleepover in our RV - made bearable by all of you. We got it all sorted thanks to Dave down the road! Thank you all, we will come back when we are better at it!! Jules and Lou xxxx

Excellent little get away. Just stayed for one night. Brilliant walks for all ages. The little hut was a nice touch as the sausages were super but didnt have room for the home made apple pie. Thanks Pat x

Please don't go here its awful the woman who runs the place is so rude not helping at all the are no toilets or showers just a field so many better places nearby for the same price

Great site but not for the beginner. Its basic which is its charm. You have a tap. A black waste point. Thats it. So quiet. No rowdy people. You can actually hear the birds sing and see deer. If you need facilities then this isnt for you. Has loads of regulars and we will def be going back.
