Liked: Beautiful clean site with views of the hills. Fantastic cafe on site and even a lovely swimming pool which was a welcome addition on a hot weekend. Tent pitch was great with good grass and eqsy ground to put in the pegs. nice and level too. Great playgrounds for the kids.

Disliked: Only half an hour Wi-Fi included and was fairly patchy to use. Need to buy more at receptiom but by the time we arrived and put the twnt up and realised , reception waa closed. But normal signal was good.

Liked: The park was lovely. Nice big pitches, friendly staff. The pool was a life saver in 33 degree heat. Shower block and toilet block were big and there is laundry facilities albeit very expensive the option is there if you wish. The kids made use of the tennis court and games room. The pitches were nice and flat although someone should escort you to the pitch as it is a large park and there was some confusion when someone was double booked on to our pitch on day 3 which was resolved once a member of staff came to the pitch but this could have been avoided.

Disliked: There are a few small tweaks that could make this a 5 star review. Although the toilets themselves were clean the floor of the toilets and shower rooms were not because of the amount of people coming to and from the pool all of the time. More toilet checks and a quick mop a few more times a day would solve this. Also the window into the shower room needs frosting as everyone could see straight in.
The pool was lovely but the pool liner a had peeled away at the step area making it really dangerous climbing in and out of the pool. Also you have to book slots into the pool which are only 40 mins long something we were not aware of before traveling.
The showers were way too hot with no option to change temperature making it impossible to cool down in the heat.

Liked: This is a fantastic site. We stayed Monday to Friday during the English School holidays and the park was very quiet and peaceful. Out of the 9 fully serviced pitches at out part of the park we ended up ourselves for 3 of the 5 nights with only one other motorhome on our pitches.

Very big pitches with a mix of gravel & grass for our tourer and awning.

We had intensions of heading out to the zoo, Beeston Castle and the Ice Cream adventure park but as weather was amazing we done morning and afternoon sessions in the outdoor pool (Better than being abroad), football and exploring on our bikes so only left the park once to visit the designer outlet shopping centre (MASSIVE)

The onsite cafe was also fantastic for the odd cooked breakfast and late lunch (very reasonably priced)

Our kids are 8 months, almost 5 and just turned 8 and this site was perfect for them. Two decent play parks, lots of little walks and a long bike path.

Toilets and showers were clean and easily accessible.

The motorhome next to us said the weekends are a lot busier and lively.

Mid week and term time was perfect for us as we like busy days and quiet nights.

We would highly recommend this site.

Disliked: Nothing to dislike for us.

Liked: We loved everything, the pool was obviously the icing on the cake for the children and with it being one depth ( 1meter deep ) the whole pool it was perfect as they could stand as well as swim. The facilities were immaculately clean. The pitches were huge. The location was beautiful, you can see the Welsh hills and mountains over the fields. There is plenty to keep the kids entertained on the site, we didn't need to go off on trips as the kids were happy enough with the pool, but it's Close to Chester zoo and Beeston Castle. We will definitely be going again.

Liked: Booked this site via Pitchup for our main holiday this year. We unfortunately had to rearrange due to work commitments but the staff were really understanding and I was able to rebook for end of August over the bank holiday.

Wow!! What an amazing little gem this is.

Kids play areas. A pool. Games room. A hangout and plenty of running space for all the children.

We took our twin axle and was pitched on 11 next to the small roundabout upon entry. The pitched are very spacious with plenty of room for awnings and gazebos.

The staff were very welcoming on arrival and let us know plenty of information regarding the site.

The site is very clean and tidy with wardens round throughout the day.

The cafe is real bonus and the shop is great for essentials and slushies!!

The pool is amazing and on a hot day always a welcome treat my boys loved it.

Great location and plenty of things to do around the local area.

Hands down one of the best caravan holidays we have ever been on and we will certainly be returning in the future!

Disliked: The play areas are sandy so be prepared to bring it all back with you. Not a problem though the kids loved it.

Liked: Great fishing, lots to do and loved going in the pool! No noise after 11pm which everyone sticks to. Bathrooms were clean and showers hot and powerful. Fantastic place to camp with loads to do for the family. Good base for a drive over into Wales (about 90 mins from Snowdon, 1 off the bucket list!) and close enough for a stadium tour in Manchester. Brilliant time and well recommended. Well done to all the staff for making it a great site!!

Disliked: Nothing at all

Liked: Everything. Peaceful site. Helpful staff. Heated outdoor pool. Excellent sources of suggested things to do in the area. Only 25 mins away from Chester Zoo. Will definitely be visiting the site again.

Disliked: Prices in the cafe were a bit steep. Just over £37 for 2 adults sandwiches and 2 children's sandwiches plus soft drinks. But it wasn't a problem, we just ate elsewhere.

Liked: Really nice atmosphere on site, although busy didn’t feel overcrowded. Two nice playgrounds, clean warm showers. Outdoor pool heated and clean. Our pitch was in a lovely spot next to a lake, quiet and secluded from the rest of the site.

Disliked: Pitch was a good 5+ min walk from toilets and all other facilities, around a lake so couldn’t send children by themselves. Would have been good to know in advance we were that far away or been given a choice.
