Such a beautiful caravan site set within an old disused quarry. Staff are always friendly and will do anything to help you. The tea shop onsite is well worth the visit, especially for a pit stop for walkers, canonists and everyone on barges. Very reasonably priced and all snacks are cooked to order. Also a great little place to grab essentials such as milk, bread, etc and have a lovely selection of homemade cakes.

We as a family have been on the caravan park for more than 55 years, so we like it

Came to look at moorings for our narrowboat, beautiful spot, would have loved it here. However the moorings have been more or less condemned by CRT. Would still live there if refurbishment to place

Excellent Static Caravan park, which is in close proximity to Yorkshire Dale's and Lake District. The site has good walks nearby and is located alongside the canal, which is also good for local walking. The site owners are good and allow each pitch to do their own gardening. There are a bar and cafe, both being very good with reasonable prices.
