Stayed here for three nights in May as a base for some leisure cycling. It’s a lovely little campsite in a peaceful rural location just a few miles from Coleshill in North Warwickshire, and near to Kingsbury water park. It’s also on the 31 mile North Warwickshire ‘red’ cycle route. The site has a mix of hard standing and grass pitches but currently no electric hook-ups. The owner, Eddie, is friendly and welcoming and reckons that these should be installed for the summer season. The facilities – shower / WC and washroom are kept clean and tidy and even have a selection of essentials if required. There is only one shower / WC for each sex which could mean a wait if the site is busy – I didn’t have any problems during my stay though. I’d be more than happy to stay again, it’s so much nicer than some industrial scale campsites I’ve been to.

Quiet, tranquil, clean and well laid out campsite. Fair pricing and friendly owners. Nice pub and reservoir just down the road (15mins walk) for a stroll and a pint.

The only improvement I could say would be additional toilets/showers as only 1 per sex currently.

Excellent , peaceful, budget site for caravans, motorhomes or tents.

Good facilities in a quiet, rural, spot yet close to main motorways makes this an ideal stopover.

We were made to feel very welcome by our host, Eddie.

We will definitely use this site again and would recommend it to anyone who is nit seeking luxury facilities.

Absolutely spot on little site, was made very welcome and nothing was too much trouble for the owner. All facilities were well kept and extremely clean, great little BBQ and seating areas. Fresh fruit and fresh eggs free for the taking in the kitchen area as well as shampoo/shower gel in for use, leaflets about local things to do as well as business cards advertising things locally including taxis and takeaways all on show. They have honestly thought about everything!! Was informed of all the local amenities including 2 great little pubs serving great beer and great food, both within a 5 min drive of the site. I really couldn’t recommend this site any more highly, amazing area and very picturesque with some great local walks including around the Shustoke reservoir only 10 min walk away. I’ll definitely be coming back next time I come to this area. Well done guys on the site, it’s fantastic!!

Absolutely brilliant stay at Yew Tree. Campsite was clean, facilities brilliant, saw the best sunrise in a good few years. Eddie is such a good down to earth guy. Couldn’t do enough for us. Lovely surroundings and close by shops and pubs. Will definitely be going back. Thanks for making us so welcome Eddie 👍

I stayed over night just me, my motorcycle, tent and gear really impressed with how calm and relaxed the site is very clean and respectable and all the other campers there were quiet and friendly, just perfect if you want to escape the usual daily madness and spend the night out in the open and cook a bit of grub and a few cups of tea so if that's your thing it's ideal. Eddie the owner seems a very genuine guy happy to help if there was anything I needed so very pleased overall and will be coming back again soon👍

Found a lovely little gem of a place here and it’s adults only!! Peaceful tranquility 😊 love the quirkiness of the shower and toilet block fantastic set up here ! Great communication from Harry as they let us set up our caravan early as we had to go into work till late then came straight over ! Eddy is a very pleasant guy couldn’t fault the place ! 20 minute walk to nearest pub the plough and a lovely walk around Shustoke Reservoir ! Shall definitely be coming back 😊

Eddie is a star. Very helpful and friendly. Site is small and spotless. The only thing to comment on, and it's a personal thing, is that the large wet room was was a bit chilly for me. However, we would definitely stay there again, and highly recommend it. The Union canal was worth a visit if you like lots of locks, and Kenilworth castle was a good day out. Close to Birmingham for the bullring shopping, and visiting Stratford upon Avon.
