Sterrett’s Caravan Park

Just back from 3 nights in the campsite and also spent 2 nights here back in September. It’s a great campsite in a perfect location - very close to the river, lovely walks from the campsite and good pubs within easy walking distance. Warden is very friendly and the facilities are good and kept clean. Will happily camp here again

Absolutely brilliant campsite, really secluded and our children were lost in the woods for most of the evening! Great location for walks and the river. Toilets were spotless! We will definitely return

Just got back from sterrets , the wardens are very friendly and helpfull, amenities, modern and very clean . We had a lovely pitch , amongst the trees . this site is very busy , lots of traffic coming and going .Busy evenings with kids playing and riding bikes around the park , but did go quiet at 11 ish , lots to do on the river , we had a nice trip up the river 40mins for a couple of quid . Theres a bar next to the site , barman very chatty and kind , cash only taken but prices very good .snack bars , coffee shacks close , local shop about 20 mins easy walk .

Just back from a weekend camping here. Nice big and well marked out pitches and really friendly owners and staff who pop by each evening to make sure everything is ok. The toilet and shower block is great and very clean. Good washing up facilities as well. A very clean and well looked after site! Can’t wait to come back!

Just returned from staying with friends at this lovely campsite. Very idyllic little camping spot with a very clean showerblock/toilets. I cant quite understand another reviewer on here saying the toilets are a joke, the whole block is very modern/immaculate, I can only assume they are confusing it with the campsite next door, which as far as I know is nothing to do with Sterretts.
The staff were very accommodating, we look forward to our next stay here.

Fantastic camp site. Really friendly staff and great facilities. The ground doesn't bend tent pegs either. There are also plenty of attractions for the kids adjacent to the site.

We had a lovely stay here with our touring caravan. We stayed Monday to Thursday in school holidays and it was very quiet.
Showers and toilets are new and clean.
Nice little play area next to the touring pitches.
