Luzlow Caravan Site

very disapointed as when asked about electric costs got told that they put it on so asking the question how much will i need for 6 days, the owner said £20 will do you and i will reinburst what is left at the end of stay, day one of arrival no electric called on few occasions left messages, final that evening got electric , went over to shower block turned hot water tap at kitchen area ,not was there no hot water ,but to my horror no water only cold tap works,we went out daily and came back in the evening so after 3 nights electric went off just after midnight so waited till the morning phoned owner again answer phone left that day came back in afternoon still no electric left more messages no reply till evening when phoned and owner answered and said ive only just got in as i have two jobs you know ,, very rudely so i said i will be leaving in the morning and not staying my full 6 days ,the owner put £5 on electri that evening , and following morning was banging on my caravan door at 7,06 am by time i got up they drove off in a range rover,left more messages after leaving to see if they owed me any morning back ,,again no reply very poor if you have medical equipment beware electric may go so your health is at risk,will not stop again do not recommend

Location for Potteries visits superb. Site is clean and facilities excellent, even with some Covid restrictions still in place. Shower good ( free at time of visit), dishwash water could have been a bit hotter but we think there may have been a voltage issue which we reported and was sorted. Laundry first rate and free with a charity donation at time of visit. Electricity per pitch is an extra but very fair and at a very reasonable rate. Use it you pay for it, don't and you don't. It worked out at £2.00 a day and we didn't stint on heating. Hosts very pleasant, very welcoming. Shops and pubs aren't in walking distance but there are plenty in a few minutes drive as are Takeaways. When we were there(late April 2022) the road was being dug up and impatient drivers made a lot of noise driving away from traffic lights from quite early, as did the local farmer with his JCB but that's not a reason not to visit nor the owners' fault. Would we come back? Yes. Do we recommend? Definitely.

Shower and toilet very clean and warm, even has a washing machine and tumble dryer.
You do have to pay extra for electric, but they refund what you don’t use (from experience, lived 2 years in motorhome in West Sussex on different sites, I know some people use way too much while away. Plugging in loads of electrical appliances that eat up electricity and blow fuses, while others don’t) I think this is a very fair way 😀

Great site. Used it as our base to go to a concert in stoke. Owner, vicky, let us settle in then came over to introduce herself and gave us advice on nearby walks and the local pub, the Stafford Arms, which is well worth a visit. The site is well maintained and all facilties clean. I would strongly recommend this site. Great value. Thank you

I called vicky and asked if I could stay for three nights as I was working in Stoke and she had a spare touring pitch very clean boutique site with adequate facilities you are left to get on with your stay they seemed a very nice and polite couple and I would have no problem recommending Ludlow caravan park.

Always love staying here. Lovely owners, clean, lovely shower/toilet block. Close to amenities and lovely places to visit. The birds singing in the trees is a delight! Truly relaxing place.

Great 2 days there, very helpful people, wash/shower facilities available are clean although we didnt use them. Definitely will be going back

Excellent CL site. Alex & Vicky friendly helpful owners, shower facilities very good and sparkly. Whole site clean and quiet, hardstanding for caravan & car and grassed area for awning etc. drive way to pitch all hardstanding aswell will be using again when in that area.
