Liked: *The site is idyllic
*Friendly and welcoming owners
*Location is fantastic, within walking distance to the waterfalls, close to some beautiful beaches and towns, half way between cardigan and Newcastle Emlyn.
*the facilities are top notch and beautifully clean,Never once needing to queue or wait for showers.
*The river that runs alone the campsite is lovely and perfect for a little dip or paddle.
This campsite is a real gem 💎

Disliked: Having to come home 🙂

Liked: Site was beautiful with the river Teifi running along it, pictures don't do it justice. Toilet and shower block so clean with hot water.
We stayed one evening and it was so quiet and peaceful just with the sounds of the birds and the river.
Our dog loved it also, nice big area to take her for a walk as well. We will definitely be coming back for a longer stay.

Liked: Loved the natural riverside location literally 5 minutes walk from the village. Toilets and showers were clean and of a very good standard. Owner friendly and welcoming.

Disliked: A little too many residentials for us.
Our motorhome is on the larger side and not very good really with having to drive half a mile up to the house (and then manoeuvre it to get back out) to collect the shower and toilet key and return it.

Liked: We arrived on a hot sunny afternoon, pitched up by the river and went in for a swim! Perfect. People were swimming and canoeing on the river, sat outside their tents
and vans and the atmosphere was lovely - very friendly. The site is very relaxed with simple pitch marking for the grass pitches. We took our shorter hook up cable which wasn't long enough to reach the ehu socket but a fellow camper helped us out. We didn't need chooks by the river side but I noticed they were needed in other spots. Immaculate toilet block and the showers were great - spacious and good water flow. Worth driving up to the farmhouse to register and get your toilet block key before you pitch - unless you fancy a walk after a long drive. Owner is lovely and welcoming. Short, easy walk to the pubs and village area - very picturesque. We thought the area and site were lovely. Even saw shooting stars.

Disliked: Nothing. There's only 1 pot washing sink and I did see people queuing but there wasn't anyone around when I went so just choose your time wisely and you'll be fine.

Liked: Friendly and welcoming owners, clean site, with Riverside pitches and a choice of pubs serving food, local store and garage, A nice boardwalk along the river and Cenarth falls all close by and within easy walking distance.

Disliked: Reception is up a narrow track 1/2 a mile away from the site, almost missed the site on arrival and took my caravan up the hill. The toilets are accessible with a key which is inconvenient if you both need to use the facilities at the same time. WiFi and phone signals are poor and intermittent.

Liked: Everything! What's not to like. Beautiful views, generous size pitches, riverside location, minutes walk from a couple of lovely pubs, tea rooms and gift shops, walks along the river up past Cenarth Falls. This was a very tranquil site, there were children and dogs (including 2 with us) and families and yet it felt like we were the only people there. It was such a peaceful site. We were fortunate enough to get a riverside pitch and being able to watch the river and listen to the water from our bed was just bliss! The shower block was second to none - quite spotless and warm and nice big shower cubicles with hooks for your clothes and a little seat to keep your belongings on, with music playing quietly in the background - I was not surprised to see they were award winning! The owner (I only met Rita) was so welcoming and friendly and you felt like you could contact her at any time of day or night if you had any issues. When you arrive you can just drive on to the field and pick your pitch, unhook your caravan or put your awning up then you need to go up to the farmhouse to pick up your toilet block key. It's about half a mile up a hill but you can just drive up there in your car/motorhome when you are ready to collect it. I've given Facilities/Activities a 3 simply because the site doesn't have onsite activities so if you're looking for a clubhouse or pool then Argoed Meadow isn't for you. But if you're looking for peace and tranquility then you must go here. We will definitely be back to this little gem of a site and will be recommending it to friends.

Disliked: That we only stayed for 3 nights! The wifi signal wasn't too good but the site was particularly busy. We noticed when a lot of pitches left on the Sunday that the wifi picked up but to be honest, that's not why we go on holidays and that's not what we base our choices on when we're looking for sites. It was quite refreshing to be off-grid.

Liked: Location by the river and convenient for walking to the village. Washrooms among the cleanest I have seen anywhere.
Great riverside and countryside walks from the campsite. (Bring your maps)
Two lovely pubs serving food. Gift shops, convenience store at garage.

Disliked: Not a dislike but bear in mind the reception is on the opposite side of the main road and up the hill, along the single track road to the farm. Unusually the caravan/ motor home spaces and electric points are not numbered.

Liked: Beautiful site alongside the river. Pitches were on a first come first served basis so we managed to get a pitch overlooking the river. Quite and peaceful site. Very clean toilet block with spacious shower cubicle and a power shower. Friendly owner. A short walk to the village for shops and pub/cafe. Great location for exploring the areas including Cenarth Falls and further afield to lovely beaches at Cardigan bay. Tenby and St David’s about an hours drive. Would highly recommend!!

Disliked: Wifi wasn’t great..
