Liked: Everything! Immaculate site, immaculate facilities & friendly staff & guests. Seriously, I have never seen cleaner bathrooms in a private or business setting! My son also commented that the showers were better then our shower at home! The staff clearly work very hard to maintain the site. The separate playing field next to the river where I could let the dog have a run was also a godsend. When I arrived on site (a little late due to a wrong turn where I was gratefully & patiently given better directions from the lady who runs the site over the phone) there was a few bricks by my pitch for me incase I wanted a bbq, a picnic bench by the side of the pitch & all facilities etc were explained to me straight away. Despite the previous rain the pitch itself was still in good condition to pitch up. We ended up leaving a couple of days early due to the threat of thunderstorms (I just wasn’t feeling brave enough!!) but that is no reflection on the site its self & we would absolutely love to return in better weather! Cannot recommend this lovely site enough. We went on a quiet week & were left to our own devices but knew the staff were around if we needed anything.

Liked: The shower and toilet block were the best we've ever seen. Clean, modern and well looked after. The facilities were top draw from the shower block through to the water and electric supply right next to out pitch. From the second we arrived we were made to feel welcome and nothing was too much bother. The staff are friendly and our kids fell in love with Angie the manager who took them apple picking one morning and generally stopped and chatted each time we saw her. The river flowing past the site was a big hit. It is only knee deep at the most and packed full of tiny fish. So a net and a bucket is a must to spend an afternoon fishing. Lots of things to do nearby from a trip to the coast to the light railway in Llanfair. There is a hotel 100 yards away that sells good food and a well stocked Post Office within 150 yards. If we camp in this part of Wales again we will be back for sure. A great place run by lovely people.

Liked: This campsite was great - arrived on one of the hottest days of the year and right next to a tree giving great shade. The toilet and shower block were exceptional - really clean and showers were hot. The site overall is very nice with very well maintained gardens and planted areas. It was nice to be able to walk the dogs along the river when it was cooler.
Would also like to mention the lady who helps run the site who met us on arrival and was very friendly throughout our stay.

Liked: Walking distance to a fabulous pub and cafe. As well as a local shop.
A very quiet site for a nice relaxing time to unwind.
Toilet and shower blocks are fabulous and the best I have ever come across.
The hosts can’t be any more helpful and are also easy reachable.
Overall would highly recommend.

Disliked: My only dislike was I could park the key beside the tent ⛺️, but still fairly close despite that. However the grass is immaculate because of this.

Liked: We recently stayed at Riverbend campsite. It was absolutely lovely! The staff were really friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The pitch was great and we had a picnic table next to the tent which was so handy!! The toilet and shower blocks were so clean, everything was stocked up every day. Beautiful little walk over the river for our dog. Loved the beehives too!! We would definitely recommend Riverbend to others and stay again. Really peaceful and chilled out few days. Thank you

Liked: Absolutely everything. The manager was so warm and friendly, accommodating our late arrival and making us feel so welcome. The herb garden were you can snip a variety of herbs was a very nice touch and the setting next to the river absolutely ideal. Fantastic and clean toilets and showers. The best camp site I have ever stayed at made even more special by the the wonderful manager, Angie. I will definitely return.

Liked: All round lovely site!
The lady welcomed us when we got there and was so friendly. The toilet and shower facilities were great and absolutely spotless. The little play area was perfect for our little girl and the stream is perfect for a little paddle! I wish we could have stayed for longer but will definitely go back!

Liked: Brilliant Campsite! One of, if not the best we've ever stayed. We stayed in a tent, family of four with young children. From the moment we arrived, Angie welcomed us and explained us everything we needed to know.
The facilities are the forte of the site, with excellent cleanliness in the toilet and washrooms.
The site is well maintained, with the grass cut short and verges left to grow for the benefit of the environment.
Everything was amazing. There is a local shop just across the road from the Campsite and an old, nice pub that serves good food just opposite.
I know nobody likes to read an extremely long review, but this one, it's really worth my time and could have spent really longer mentioning only good things about it, but it's probably worth trying it for yourself. You will love it. We did and we are definitely going back.
