Carafit Caravan Services

I took my caravan to get some warranty work done in November 2021. They had already had seen the caravan to order the parts needed. They said that they had already put in a claim to Elddis for the work and had ordered the parts and the parts were in. So it should have been with them a few days. But 14 weeks later they gave me a green mouldy caravan back that had not been fixed. Water had been coming into the caravan for the entire time. When I rang them about the caravan they would lie and say that they were going to ring me. They would give every excuse under the sun to why the caravan was not ready. I was hoping to spend the new year in the caravan but I didn’t it back until February. So over the last 14 weeks the caravan had deteriorated significantly and the damp was widespread now. I asked them also to do other jobs, but they didn’t do any of them. When I rang Elddis, they said that they have not had any communication from Carafit. They had not made a claim or even rang them. So this company are a bunch of LIARS. You have been warned. Don’t take anything there to get repaired. I haven’t read these trustpilot reviews until today. I’m kicking myself now for not reading this before. A waste of 14 weeks and a caravan that is worth a lot less now. If you want to loose money and not see you vehicle for months, then go ahead and use this company. They lie and lie and lie. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

Wish there was an option for zero…….this company is terrible…total liars…promise to send someone out but they never turn up…..waiting months for warranty work to be done on my motorhome, in the sand I collected the part ( which was the wrong type) and took to another repair company. Who the. Had to order the correct seal and then completed the job in a few weeks. Avoid this company and if you use them don’t leave your vehicle with them …it will come back in a worst state then when it went in

Good service from staff and great work. Had a large Elddis warranty repair completed. Manufacturer were a real pain but Carafit got it all sorted for me when supplying dealer could not. Really happy
Returned today again for another repair and service and all good this year again

Chief liar Andrea will tell you anything to get you off the phone, go in and she'll say anything to try and appease you....
I wish i had read the reviews on trust pilot 80% poor...and the horror stories you hear on sites about Carafit i cant believe they are still in business

ps...look on companies house for carafit, this is the 3rd company registered by andrea or her husband at the same address...this one is about to have the doors closed on too......and i wouldnt want a caravan in there when that happens

5 stars for all the lies Andrea has told!! There are no stars awarded to Carafit.
I would not recommend this company to anyone. Our caravan went in for a simple rail repair.
Carafit Crosshands had the van for over 2 months back before the summer, we were told it would only take a week….. lie!!
They said they had ordered the wrong part and it would be in the following week…... lie!!!
The silicone was the wrong colour and wasn’t dry…… lie!!!
Myself and husband kept ringing being promised by Andrea that it would be ready the following week…… lie!!!
August 3rd 2022 we picked the caravan up as we had booked our summer holiday with no work being done at all to it!!
Andrea said they had ordered a new back end for the van not sure why as the rail was to be repaired , and was promised that it would be repaired…. Lie!!
The caravan has been with them for a further 5 weeks, Andrea has spoken to my husband several times… it will be ready next week….. lie!!!
Last Thursday 27/10/22 were assured that it would ready to be collected on Tuesday 1/11/22.
I rang this morning left a message Andrea rang me back. She said yes it’s all complete and ready to be collected this afternoon…. Lie!!!
Arrived just before 4pm…… Andrea said it’s fine for you to go away but will need to have the van returned as they need to fit new rail….lie!!
I said you told me this morning that it was all done and ready to be picked up, my husband and I inspected the van…. THEY HADN’T TOUCHED IT. Andrea told my husband they had put new silicone…. lie was the same silicone same damaged rail…. NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE to the van.

Great quality products. Excellent workmanship. We have 18 years experience of the company this is 3rd suit. The one being replaced after 13 years still looking good and is still a current model. They offer a bespoke service which is brilliant and affordable. Staff are always happy to help in every way. Highly recommended and only 4 to 6 weeks delivery time. Had to nag to get them involved in giving me a quotation for work needed on my touring caravan. When they finally acknowledged the request they said that they would send the quotation in the post; that was 3 weeks ago and still has not arrived.........terrible service they do not deserve to stay open, DO NOT USE CARAFIT give your custom to a service that deserve it. Unable to give 0 stars unfortunatley.
