Subway

In need of something quick and easy to eat in the West End, we chanced upon this small Subway tucked down an alley near Bond Street tube. The tiny restaurant was drab and tired, with just a handful of tables - half of them waiting to be cleaned and covered in crumbs and rubbish. The two boys serving behind the counter were friendly enough, if a little distracted. It was only mid-afternoon, but the place had been stripped of ingredients. One of the servers explained that they were down to just two types of bread, rather than the usual half dozen varieties. My partner and I had to make second choices for sandwich fillings because they were out of our first choices. Rather than sit inside surrounded by grubbiness, we opted for the seating outside, which wasn't much better, but at least there was less rubbish. The oppressive alleyway location did little to improve our opinion of this rather depressing little Subway.

I felt at home here, the two assistants were efficient and quick, and the Pepsi was cold and fizzy, it was just right. I really felt that I was eating something that was good for me. I managed to find a seat nearby because there is no table service there at the moment.
My only slight issue was that one of the assistants didn't acknowledge my coupon for a free drink and packet of crisps at the till, until I reminded him, and I had to ask for my receipt because they didn't offer me one.
Other than that I was happy.

Food was normal subway standard however the man working there was incredibly rude. Today (29 sept) I asked to use my points to redeem a free side, he put the wedges in the grill and then after they were cooked he tried to tell me that I couldn't use my points for that (just at their branch apparently, no other subway has said no when I've used my points) and since they'd already been cooked he tried to force me to pay for them. He shouted at me across the store for refusing to pay. Terrible customer service, I do not recommend visiting this branch.

Found this quiet spot off Oxford High Street, it wasn't busy at the time, plenty of outside seating, reasonably clean. Tight space indoors though, coffee machine opposite main door. Nice spot to grab a quick bite.

The food was as usual but when I asked for a sub he's super rude. The behaviour wasn't expected at all given I've been a regular customer at SubWay. I could appreciate that they're working during New Year day but treating customers badly is never a right thing. SubWay should definitely check in on these things. Extremely disappointed with the rude behaviour. Totally upset the day! Not a good way to start this new year Jan 1, 2023. Happy New Year others! 💪🏻

Horrible service. This subway must be avoided. Very rude pakistani/indian guy trying to trick me with smaller portions of meat and salads. What tf ??? I know all costs rises like sun on the sky but c’mon. Give me what I paid for.
Since when Subway have to put only 6 tiny slices of pickles on a foot long ??
Also only 2 napkins. 😂😅 this subway restaurant is a joke. Unfortunately many tourists are tricked in here daily. Never come back here.

I ordered the veggie sub, but those employees didn’t change their gloves which they were using in meat section. After that the employee was behaving rudely. I never seen this type of behaviour in any restaurant , second thing is they didn’t put vegetables properly in sub.

Staff was very rude.

Nachos was made funny with just dip of salsa sauce.

Worst experience ever.
